If you don't have direct experience with a particular dealer, please don't post comments.

Please don't post comments just to post comments. Let's use this thread as a clean repository of useful information that doesn't require looking through 5 pages of garbage for every 1 useful post.

If you see a dealer listed that you had a similar experience with, simply "like" the post that's already up instead of making a duplicate. The more likes a post has, the more data to support the posters comments.

No bullshit from anyone dealt with - Alex Wheaton in Sales was Fantastic

 

Burlingame Toyota in Burlingame, CA. (near san Francisco) was good. I don't have any experience with their service dept and I can't speak for all the people there but the sales guy I dealt with was legit. I think his name was Eric - I remember he was the internet fleet manager. Anyway, super cool dude. Made the whole thing easy and BS free.

 

The first dealership I went to was a total fail. It was actually the first time I went to a dealership since being in the northeast. Second dealership however was rad, in and out, very accommodating. My salesman was freakin hilarious. He had been in the biz for a month, was a total airhead, and had taken this job because his last job fired him for hitting an AIRPLANE with a FORKLIFT. I actually had fun this go around.

 

For my wife's new 2015 Venza we went with Twin City Toyota in Herculaneum Mo.
For my new 2016 Tacoma, I purchased it at KC Summers Toyota in Mattoon, IL.
After dealing with the bozo Toyota dealers in the metro St. Louis area, the above two dealers were some of the best car buying experiences we've had lately. A bit of a drive but well worth it.

 

Atkinson Toyota in Bryan/College Station, TX is really good and mechanics are nice. Very friendly. Joe Myers in Houston is fast even when busy. Most of the workers are very friendly

 

Sorry Mako, but I have to go with Weiss Toyota in St. Louis and , specifically, Mike Collins. No pressure, great to work with.

 

Autonation Toyota in Central FL is a great dealer. Excellent service dept.

I was just going to say Autonation Toyota, but in St Pete. Lakeland Toyota for purchase, but their service department is downright awful!
