well damn haha I was in the middle east last year so I missed all that

 

hopefully some more this year! maybe not as much, but I hope at least 20 inches

 

That's where the culture comes into play. A lot of people from places in the world who don't know how to drive to begin with, then insert them into the busiest traffic area in the country and makes for a shit show. Especially when it snows. Lots of them have never seen snow much less driven in it!

Snow is hit or miss out here. But one things for sure, if you have a pre runner now you will want a 4wd when you get here. People cant drive for shit in snow here, or rain, or fog, or sunshine for that matter.
Unless you enjoy shoveling, get a snowblower. Gas powered two stage with about a 24" width will do fine.

 

Also @d33pdown can you do me a favor and enjoy a double double before leaving the left coast?

Lots of sandbags in the bed will help, but only so much.

I originally wanted a 4wd but the stars diddnt align for it. I know a lot of people are gonna tell me how this is a terrible idea but I have been looking into doing a 4x4 conversion before next winter

 

I know people have done it, but I have no idea how it would be done.

Dedicated snow tires and bags of sand! That should cover anywhere you NEED to go, most everything else is WANT to go.
