True. I wanted a red TRD OR, they had a white one...I waited about 3 weeks and they got me the red one I wanted

 

I've had a MGM 2nd gen 2014 and currently a super white 2015. I was hoping to stir it up as well.

 

That's actually what the dealer told me as well. Apparently everyone that lives in the city here NEEDS 4wd. It's funny I've never had it on any of my Tacoma's.

 

Ummm the TRD Sport doesnt come in 2wd...

You can't build a 4x2 TRD Sport on toyotas website..

I don't get it. If the dealer you're using can't order what you want, find a different dealer who can. Go out of town if you have to.

Cab and bed configuration precluded the 4x2 option for your region's allotment.

I was looking to simply go to a local dealer and drive home the same day.

 

I just bought an SR in the DC area last week. The Koons dealers seem to have the most in stock with Westminster MD having the most if you're willing to drive up there. Koons Arlington and Jim Coleman Bethesda were the worst dealers I dealt with, would not recommend. Ended up buying mine at Antwerpen in Clarksville MD because they had a white one.
