Oh okay at least nothings coming out of the pocket for the fixes. Do you wheel a lot or go mudding? I've noticed the cap made my bed sag a little on the driver side from all the flexing my truck does when I used to wheel it. Do you see that with your truck?

I go up to the mountain and or off-road almost every weekend. Will do a little wheeling but nothing to major. This is my daily so breaking things isn't ideal. I take it pretty easy. I did notice a little sagging before I put on the dakar leafs. No more sagging, I just get the infamous leaf pack squeak lol

Yeah I replaced mine too, I put the Kansas City 4 leaf HD pack on mine, works pretty darn well.

The sag I was mentioning is not in my leafs though, its the bed itself. It looks a little like my frame is twisted, but I checked it so it has to be the bed mount or something like that.

Interesting. No I haven't experienced any bed sagging other then the leafs themselves.

Looks so good man! My leer hasn't leaked on me once so that's a bummer to hear yours is. How do the dakars ride? And what 255 are those?

Thanks! Yeah after going into leer for the third time it seems that the leaks are taken care of for now. For the price I'm pretty dissatisfied with my purchase, but I have had other leer canopies in the past that were great. The dakars ride great! A little stiff but couldn't be happier. A big improvement over stock. The tires are the cooper discoverer s/t maxx. They have been great so far and I even have a full size spare in the stock location!

Nice! We have a similar set up but I'm running 285/75 with spare in the stock location. Have 5100s and eibschs now but bought 885s to replace the eibachs and am wanting to get some dakars

How is the power with 285s? Was hesitant to jump to a bigger size, as I'm not ready to regear. I struggle for power in certain situations as it is! I garuntee you'll enjoy the dakars!

@mkhawks44 can't be much different from the 255s as far as power goes. it goes fine and sometime when you need to pass or go up a hill ill just down shift.

Love the RC's! Had a first gen AC for many years, went to another truck, and now back in a 12' Toyota RC.

Just ordered FOX 2.5 Coilovers, All Pro UCA's, Diff Drop Kit, Toy Tec AAL's, Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks, Rear Axle shims, and Extended Rear Brake Lines. Hopefully get all the parts and install soon! Post a picture up when finished. Really hope the vibration issues do not arise after installation like they have on others RC's.

Possibly looking to install some 255/75R17 KO2's. Any advice on a good offset or backspacing rim? I was looking at the Stealth Custom F5 rims possibly.

I can't wait to get this thing on some 285's! F5's are the coolest

My Tacoma is the same color. Think I'll probably go matte bronze on the F5's. Clean truck, it will look good on 285's.

I am running 884's up front, no spacer, and full dakar leafs in back. The back end does sit up higher, but I don't mind that stance and it will become more level while under load as Moose pointed out. I still wish I had done a top plate spacer though.

Could someone direct me to a thread/ link that details the process of adding a top plate spacer to the strut assembly? Thanks!

Not much to it...take the 3 nuts off up top, jack the truck frame up enough to slide in the spacer in and then let the jack back down onto top of shock and tighten down the 3 nuts.
