Ok I ordered the headlight kit for the fog lights. Have both sets of lights sitting in my living room, do I need the flux capacitor? It mentions something about polarity? (Can't believe I would ever ask that)

EDIT: please disregard. Installed no problems without capacitor.

Anyone have experience with the Cree V2 series for fogs? Looks like it's a new release which claims improved output versus the original Cree series.

They had some come in around Thanksgiving time, so I ordered mine but now it seems they're out again. You can always contact them to find out when the next shipment is coming in.

I've had some time to install these, looks 100 000 000 000 000 times better than stock halogen! plug and play, no need of the capacitor included in the box.

    Highly recommended!

anybody have the rigid industries fog light kit? I just got it. good light, although not sure if I'm happy with the side to side throw yet. I was definitely not happy with how bad it contrasts with my halogens. I was wondering if these would match up with these. looking at the x's with 6000k temp.

hey @tasnowma .is it possible for you to add a poll to this thread on if/ how much people like their led headlights. I'm seriously considering this but it seems like not everyone is happy or someone is bashing leds. thanks

Hey guys so saber ddm led are out they are going to send me a canbus ultra hid kit for the difference the throw on the lights totally sucks and for Utah snow or incliment driving I really need that extra fill in the center down the road. Also looking at a caliraised combo beam in the future but be careful w the LEDs just my two cents I am ready for the flame war now.

    I'm gonna pass on this.
If you want a nice white light that throws about as stock halogen but is much more reflective, go for for led.
If you want a bright white light that will murder people's eyes, go for HID.

So, yesterday I intalled the Opt-7 fluxbeam X LEDs. They worked after the install, now I go to start my truck this morning and only the DRLs, fogs and brights work. Any idea why my lows won't work now?

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting each cable? It happened to me on one side, the contact was not made on a connector.

I'll verify this after work today. Seems to be a common issue when installing LEDs.
I'll double check this as well. I did put electrical tape around each connection, not sure if this may have trapped any excessive moisture during the install of not. Will advise once I know

funny how everyone is still buying these lights and overpaying for them.
I bought these 4 months ago for lows and fogs and have had ZERO issues and they are very good ouput.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/7600LM-60W-...9-H11-Low-beam-bulbs-/231599609903?rmvSB=true

These are THE SAME exact thing as the Opt7 stuff just they have not been ordered in custom red like opt7 does from the chinese vendor and toss their name on them to make it seem like they developed them.
Save yourself some cash and buy the exact same product for half the cost. Unless you dont like saving money. No I have no affiliation with this seller in anyway. I just try to find better deals when i purchase anything.

I had LEDs for the lows and the output wasn't good. close up they are bright but they just don't have the throw and in reality the stock halogen bulbs have better light output. Now I have on morimoto hids 5500k and that was a huge difference I think they might be too bright! Lol
