I think this is the first thread I've seen where the OP really wanted a 2WD and was disappointed because he had to settle for 4wd.

    I feel you bro.

They also have an Engine guarantee for life. Basically a non-factory warranty.

Yeah our local dealers offer the engine guarantee for life from astons to toyotas
However it's not transferable to new owner

    But no free oil changes

I hear ya man, I just think it's funny because 99% of the "regret" posts here are the opposite. This is refreshing to see.

I would've been perfectly happy with a base PR....but ended up with a TRD Sport. Sort of a gift from the wife.

Haha. Some people around here put so much energy into bashing 4x2 rigs....just thought I'd help them out and make fun of myself.....for their sake. You know....take some of the load off them.

Yeah, I extended my lugnuts because my 4x2 lacks the girth the 4x4's have. LOL

Should have just ordered one. the only way I got my OR 4x4 was to order it. I got tired of the dealers trying to trade each other...

They say girth is where it's at.

I own a Prerunner....I wouldn't know anything about that. :anonymous:

I drove 5 hrs to Prioirity Toyota in Virginia, from NC, to get a black DCLB. Didn't have premium or tech, but I wanted black and LB more. Just took some patience and time to search the inter-webs for what I was happy with.

2 months is nothing. it took my dealer 14 months to find the truck I wanted because I live in the sticks.

That's some bullshit.. Find you a truck? freaking order the damn thing. Don't understand why people don't just order it. the dealer has to put up with so much bullshit trading vehicles and what not to get what you want, which takes forever ! ! I dealt with that bs for 2 weeks. I went in after getting tired of losing trucks and ordered what I wanted. 1 1/2 months later, my truck is rolled off the flat bed and into my arms...

Hmmmm... my brother just bought a 2016 Tundra about 6 months ago and the dealer traded with another dealer about 20 miles away while we waited.

One was an auto nation and the other was power.
