    Quite the lineup there

It seems like it really doesn't take much to make some power. Did you have it dyno'd after camming it?

Also what's the story on the blobeye?

This thing gave me a goat boner. Definitely not everyones cup of tea, but I thought it was pretty rad. GTO's are not super appealing cars to me in the looks department - Granted, they do look nice when done right.

But I was talking with my buddy and we were saying if someone could put a 'JDM' twist on a GTO it would be pretty cool. Later that day I stumbled upon this car on Instagram.

I agree with gtos not being that appealing. That one I like though

The GTO made 375hp/374tq at the wheels. Not spectacular but good enough to have some fun. It still got 26-27 mpg on the highway at 85 mph.

The WRX was acquired on a trade and it didn't run. It was an ej205 engine with ej207 heads so I had to swap the cam gears and some other small maintenance parts to get it running. It had some small mods and a tune. The tuner estimated around 280 awhp.

    Here are some before pics.

375/374 sounds like fun to me  that's pretty damn good for fuel mileage too. I'm lucky to get 24-25 on the highway in my wrx. The blobeye is sweet though. That generation STI is one of my favorites.

Been kicking around the idea of maybe selling the Subaru but I always go back and forth on it. Been day dreaming of a GTO the past few days at work haha.

Keep the subi! Perfect all around car that's fun I think especially for the area.

Saw a pretty sweet sti yesterday. Was silver. Could hear him doing pulls behind me when he got on the interstate at 5th ave. Hahawas loud.

Saw a few nice cars while was in Sheridan.

It definitely is well suited for the region. I love the car there's no doubt about that. I'm reminded of that every time I start it up and drive it.

    Was it a hatchback?

There are a few gems around Sheridan for sure.

Yeah that's Tyler's car. It's loud as fuck lol. It's actually just a wrx too. Makes like 475 at the wheels. I made a video for him a couple months back.

No different Tyler lol. But yeah, it's a Holset turbo believe it or not haha. Rotated setup, external waste gate, etc ect

He's got lag from hell but it moves when it finally spools.

Someday. We will see how much he wants for it. He sunk a ton of money into it and if he wants too much for it, i'll just buy one with a 2jz swap already done.

but would be cool to own the first car i ever bought 100% all on my own from highschool haha

eh. not a priority for me. overall as much as i love cars, im not a car guy in an owner type way..if that makes sense. It would be a fun toy for the weekend drive and all. But i would still drive Igor mostly. I just like trucks. Tacomas are perfect for me in that way.

Lots of audio gear id buy before a car i think.
