    I winterized my trucks........

    Not really.

I lived in Moscow, Russia for a few years, early 90's.
Use to go to Baikonor, Kahzakstan....Russian launch site.
One trip during the winter it was ambient -40C...wind was blowing 30 knits for 5 days.....this Texas boy froze his posterior off!

    Interesting article: http://englishrussia.com/2012/03/17/kazakh-expedition-to-the-south-pole/

It may not look too good, but it will sure keep bird droppings, frost ice and snow off the cab and

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
    Priorities!
Bought all my rigs by myself! FJ when I was 19. First Tacoma, 2010 TRD sport when I was 23. And was able to save money and pay cash for my loaded 16' TRD off-road. It definitely feels good to buy a new rig all on your own. My case 3 ha.
If momma and daddy are paying for it, hopefully he's a hell of a kid and deserve it?

The 5100 will ride nicer than your stock shocks. Not sure if you're looking to keep it simple but that makes things a lot more expensive and somewhat more complicated.

Preemptively cut out my space for the apexfab/cali raised led because I thought the initial package from apexfab would have the light bar as well, but it only had the mounts (not apexfab fault, mine for not understand how the items would ship). So now I got the mounts put in so the light bar and wiring is all that has to be done. Really awesome mounts that feel really sturdy:D20161210_113848.jpg 20161210_114109.jpg

How can a 1" spacer give you 1 and 3/4 lift? And why would a 1/2" spacer give you 1"

This is a completely honest question... I believe your numbers I am just trying to reason out how it works to give you more.

Are the spacers bigger than advertised? Or is it the way they are designed etc.

He wanted it wired to come on with the low beams.

Yeah, it's how the spacers work in conjunction with the suspension geometry. Someone much smarter than me can come correct this, but since the shock is now sitting x" lower, it changes how the UCA and LCA sit.

2016 TRD sport 4x4 DCSB 2" lift 285/65/18 and loaded
    2" lift,18"rims, 32" tires,pro shifknob, black emblems etc
Front suspension spacers and rear blocks r different .
Most front suspension spacers double the lift because of the angle and geometry etc
So fir example if u install 1/2" spacer on the front the truck will go up about 1"
with a 1" spacer your truck should go up about 2" but it depends on the brand of spacers that u use . My truck only went up on the front about 1 3/4

The rear blocks work differently .
If u put 1/2 block on the back the truck will raise 1/2
Or 1" then will raise 1"
    Etc etc
Hopefully my English makes sense lol

You'll also need to either buy new springs or have a shop swap your old springs over to the new 5100 shocks. You'll then need to figure out which setting on the 5100 yields the lift you want. This is pretty easy with aftermarket springs but not as easy when reusing stock springs. To change the setting on the 5100 shocks, they need to be removed from the truck, taken to a shop to have springs removed, clip moved to another setting, shocks reassembled and reinstalled. Quite honestly if all you want is to level it, use a 1/2" spacer and be done with it. Going to a 5100 and new shocks is about $400 in parts plus associated labor which is the in known. 1/2 spacers bolt on and will run you $72 plus labor (if you can't install them yourself) and the cost of an alignment which you will absolutely need.

    These are the spacers
