    Finally saw the elk! Big mofos, i saw 5 bulls and one cow as my abs freaked the hell out and came to a slow, eventual stop on the snow. I was watching the others on the side, hoping they wouldn't run across since I wasn't slowing much. Guess it's time to turn off abs when descending the driveway.

    But i saved the dash cam video for When i get home. When do these things shed antlers? I need to follow them, they have massive racks.

    Usually around March/April time because that's when they have the lowest testosterone so the bone connecting to the antler deteriorates and eventually fall off.
