I recently sold my 5 RC cars and 5 bens full of extra parts to a buddy at work. After 15yrs of playing and spending a TON of $ I find myself back in the garage wrench on my sons car. I thought I was done with these money pits

BTW @BudMan thanks again for the beers

Dude they are hella fun but unfortunately it became not enough for me real quick. My first one was a rc-10gt. I paid $370 for it and before I knew it I had 1500 into. It just snow balled from there. I probably had 5k invested in my 5 cars

Edit: did I mention the hours upon hours rebuilding motors, tranny's, shocks

My buddy had one in high school and it was a blast. That thing easily did like 50mph.

I cut the pinch welf every six inches or so then used these IMG_1175.jpg
And A BFH. I used the flat jawed locking pliers to get the bend started. If you want to use them @DannyBFresco, you're more then welcome to. Just like everyone said be very liberal with the sealant. Sandwich the sealant and put it on top

I have been into RC since I was 10 years old. Done it all from flying to racing to competetion rock crawling. Still have to many cars, trucks and planes. I can't even imagine how many tens of thousands of dollars I have had wrapped up into it over the years.
