Well Louie was a hit at Home Depot. He even got some treats at customer service desk.
Getting cabin etc ready for cutout of vertical vent but got tired of being in non heated non insulated garage in the rain at around 37f.

i'm betting what you have will work beautifully. part of what i like about what we have is it takes a little more thought and effort tomake them as functional. i was thinking starting with the easier trails and see ow it goes anyway

    Evening everyone

Just got back from the car show and had a lot of fun Bench Racing and eating a good dinner consisting of a double cheeseburger , fries and a LG soda . Because of the colder temps today and if you call low 60 deg temps cold the car count was low today , maybe 15 cars but still a fun time

Found out or I should say my Camaro really likes this cold air . its only 55 deg right now but all that cold air is making some good hp #'s . The throttle response is awesome but cold temps makes for less than ideal traction

Couldn't get the power to the ground without some tire smoke and also cornering with cold drag radials made for some pucker factor !!

My old chevelle loved the cooler weather. I had taken my fender wells out to keep that big block bored over 30,375 hp 396 cool. Even had electric fans on stat.

I've been wanting to pull my inner fenders off for awhile now but my line lock and fuel press regulator are mounted to them

I took the 64 C10 to a couple of shows around San Diego and quickly realized that crowd is just a bunch of uppity rooti-poots. It's a mixed crowd of speed and restorers, but all I got was a bunch of crap and shitty attitudes. When it had the original 230 cu in motor and the 3 on the tree they talked about the paint, then when I put the 350 in it I heard about everything from not big enough motor to no blower to it doesn't have the delux sterring wheel. Then I realized people wanted me to build my truck to their wants so I quit going. And, when I quit going I had guys I'd met at the shows telling me I should bring it back to the shows. Then I seen that attendance was down and they wanted more vehicles and someone to talk to. I then figured that about a quarter of the folks were the ones stirring the pot and pretty much would run any new folks off so, f'em. That was about 4 years ago and I really haven't had the urge. There's a crew of old timers that meet up about 2 blocks away that I may go check out one of these months.
