I remember when I started drag racing back in the mid to late 70's then in the early 80's I got to drive a Pro Gas car at OCIR . It was a 75 Chevy Monza with a 468bbc running 9.90 Et's. We would use a crude but effective throttle stop to run the #'s . We used a bolt with a nut welded to the floor pan just under the loud pedal

to keep from breaking out we would just adjust that bolt so the loud pedal wouldn't move that much

Well I'm checking in from Indiana. sitting in my mother's newly downsized house. Been a fun trip so far. Saturday during our 10+ hour of driving we stopped at a couple of antique shops on the way. The one was in half a huge building, other half was the building was a classic car mall.
    20161210_161210.jpg
Everything was for sale but way out of our price range. Everything from 442s, Chevelles, trucks, TBirds, Safari wagons and not one but two! L79 Novas.

One of the employees ran out as we pulled into the parking lot. He's got a 2013 Baja Tacoma and mine was the only other one he's seen.

Got to my brothers house ( near to moms) and ran into a surprise birthday party. ( That's really next Saturday) but since I'm here they decided I needed a party. My brother told everyone to buy stuff a 10 year old would like. Now I've got model cars, one of those parachute guys you throw up in the air, a box odd twinkies, nerf guns, and best of all a Stomper (maybe one of their rivals) of a black Toyota truck. It's awesome! I want to paint a little crow on its hood and build a mini teardrop for it.

Today we spent working on the house mostly just changing locks and doorknobs, getting the garage empty enough to put a car in, and teaching my niece how to add antifreeze to her car.

Oh, and Mom made skillet fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy....a little bit of southern Indiana heaven!

Some of our guys just got back from Choccolocco Mt in Alabama, two of them with broken trucks. It was a tough one out there and I'm not interested. Just want to ride some good trails with a little challenge and good scenery.

 i agree! i've got to get out and do some of this stuff but when you have to look at 35's or so to do a trail idk it would be way more of an exspense for me to do something like that than it'd probably be worth

I agree! I feel bad for him.

Here's the video if you want to hear a rear diff give up the ghost. It's near the end.

    To vs. too
To is a versatile preposition. A few of its many definitions are (1) toward, (2) reaching as far as, and (3) until.1 Too is an adverb meaning (1) additionally, (2) excessively, (3) very, or (4) extremely.2 Whenever you’re in doubt about whether to use to or too, see if any of those synonyms of too (i.e., additionally, extremely, etc.) would work in its place. If none fits, then tois probably the word you’re looking for.

Usually when someone uses to in place of too or vice-versa, it is simply a typo or an error made in a careless moment, so let’s not be too hard on people who occasionally mix them up. None of us is immune to such mistakes. When the mixup is habitual, however, it is a problem. Most people who speak English as a first language master the distinction in primary school, so the mixup can make one look either poorly educated or like a very unpracticed writer, which can be devastating when it comes to college applications or job-application cover letters.

The pup decided to help me dig the truck out of the snow, then took a break. Of course it started to snow again as soon as I got the driveway half way clear.
