    They are right. Look at any shop type compressor. The line that connects the compressor motor to the tank is usually copper and sometimes has aluminum fins on it. That line gets very hot. But if running from the ARB to a tank first with SS braided line, then running from there to lockers, quick disconnect, etc, the heat issue is a non factor. If I was not using a tank, I would use a manifold similar to the ARB one.

    your air lines.. they are 3/8" OD? I kind of put this project on my back burner for now, since I have all winter to figure it out and gather parts

    Yup. All 3/8 push to connect line. The braided hose from the compressor to the tank is 1/4 with a check valve from Viair though.

    Ha! "Joysticks" I love it! They're shift levers for my manual FJ Cruiser T-Case swap. One is H/L. The other is 2WD/4WD :thumbsup:

    @Aroq206 that mount is very similar to how i made mine, but i had to bend the metal since I don't know how to weld
