I'm not sure if I am supposed to submit this in an inbox, but from the entries I see, I would love to go with @davidpick . I really enjoy the ambient light from the fire highlighting the rocks, and the light streaks from the embers.
Your mt. Shasta photo on your website is amazing too.

    Congrats David.
Jessica. as Long as you have considered all the entries I am sure that will work. normally someone will quote the official entries using the multi quote system and the state the winner. you can do it yourself if you want or wait for someone to do it for you next time. either or. it just confirms that all the entries were seen.
My main camera is down for a bad power switch and work got in the way this week do I didn't have an option to head out. next time

Figured i would try my new phone out. This about what the mood feels like for almost 6 months out of the year in the Midwest. This is a melted amount of 1st snow.

snow fall isnt 6 months, just the cold weather. Im in Iowa, i wish there would be snow the whole time it was cold, would make it more worth buying a sled but anymore there is maybe a month or 2 that is good riding weather.

If people realize that it is really 6 months of mosquito season\road construction & only 6 months of winter then everyone would move in ;). Last night saw at least half a dozen trucks with sleds in the back, anyone with a sled has been chomping at the bit. I hear you, about the same here.

Just dug the truck out of the snow, and then of course it started snowing again. This is my view during winter at least 6 times a day for the next couple of months. Unless get lucky and spring comes early.

My friend up in Rochester was bitching about the snow herself, lol. unfortunately all she has is a old chrysler concorde. I have no clue how she gets to work.

Hey I always thought the Concorde was a fairly decent looking car! Well there is a little part of me yet that still says Mopar or no car. Truck has to be Toyota however and always have had 4x4 rigs. Odds are she also works at Mayo Clinic. We are spending 22 Billion dollars over the next 20 years to make it a Medical Destination Center. My first thought was move South! But the CEO and board do know what they are doing or we wouldn't be the number 1 hospital in the US. Weather however I would rank toward the bottom though....

LOL never seen that before, cute! At first thought it might be the mile high club and the Concorde jet...

But your on the wrong side of the River :) Nice shot! I spend more time on the Wi. side of the river than the Mn. side to be honest and had it to do over again would live on that side. Most of my Eagle and bird shots are from the Upper Mississippi National Wildlife Refuge over there. I do have Baldies fly over the house from time to time but not the same as the river and the bluffs, hard to beat it. Did catch some different birds in La Crosse a couple of years ago when I was shooting Eagles. Blue Angles
