Automatic differential disconnect. It is what 2001-Present 4X4 Tacomas have instead of manual hubs.

ADD can be found on some 95-00 models.

It was even found on some early 89-95 pickups and 4runners.

Nice choice on brake pads. Toyota has Akebono make many of the brake pads that Toyota uses as OEM. Akebono makes a quality brake pad.
Being that Toyota likely used Akebono pads as OEM on your truck, fortunately this will not pull you out of the poverty spec. :D Lol

Anytime! I myself have never seen these wheels on another Tacoma either, even regular cabs. Quite odd if you ask me. I had did have stock 225/75/R15s, but I'm up to 265/75/R16 KO2s now. As @DJB1 said "ADD" is Automatic Differential Disconnect. I still have to pull the J-shifter (no push button 4x4), just no manual hubs to get out and switch.

Here's a brochure from 2002 that shows all the wheels and other available options, it seems that those wheels on that Alaska extended cab are one step above the ones from my truck. http://www.russauto.com/ncinv/modelinfo/brochures/02Tacoma.pdf

Disappointing that those dang white gauges are keeping me out of the cool club :pout:

This is why I love poverty-spec trucks with pizza cutter tires, crank windows and manual transmissions; my dad's 1977 Chevrolet Suburban, "Old Blue." It was a 3/4 ton 4X4 with a 350, 4 speed manual transmission, crank windows, no A/C, and a black plastic cubby hole above the AM radio that always had a roll of toilet paper stuffed in it. Even the forest service Suburbans were better-equipped.

Thank you so much for the borschure

See the first 15" wheel under the 4x2 ?
    I wish I had those
Those look like the gorgeous 4Runner 5 star wheels that @DJB1 painted white on his truck

However the OG owner of my truck ordered the last wheels on there the ugly twist 16" :(

We will have to let you in the cool club, even with your KKk guages :D due to you helping with finding the correct wheels and amazing brochure :)

From the sounds of things my taco is a high class poverty rig. It's a 4 banger 5spd, manual hubs, man. Tcase, man. windows and locks, etc. But has clock, cruise, ac, tack, buckets, sliding window and aluminum wheels. From the sounds of things that puts her out of the poverty class, but I picked her up for only $1100 so it is what it is.

Yes she's bobbed 11 inches.............I mean she's so hungry from being poor and what not that she's losing weight.

Lmao! I thought I was poverty pack material too, but now I'm not so sure. I never knew mine was an SR5. I've always thought it was deluxe due to the bench seat and manual everything. My guess is that it is the bare bones SR5 package, without a single upgrade. I'll bet the 'upgrades' it has are due to being SR5; the tach, automatic, and A/C. But it does have manual hubs, does anyone know if you could get an SR5 originally with manual hubs?
