    1" Bora spacers on my truck with 108,000+ miles. Never a problem. No different that wheels with more offset. I do NOT use lock-tite. Never had a loose lug yet. And I do off road the truck quite a bit.

    Been running my 1" Bora Wheel Spacers for 4,000ish miles now (maybe little less). So far 0 issues.

    When you install them you just need to make sure to really follow the directions. Torque correctly. Do not use an impact gun. Do a 5-10 mile test drive, take the wheels off and re-check all the torques. Every time you rotate the tires just re-check the torque. Mine haven't budged one bit.

    A higher quality is typically a wheel spacer that has had some thought put into it and some engineering. A Bora wheel spacer is hub centric for both the wheel and the hub. Meaning all of the weight is supported by the hub and not the wheel studs. Exactly the same as if you bolted your OEM wheel up without the spacer.
    The wheel spacer just acts like as if you had a less offset wheel, so stresses on wheel bearings are the same regardless.
    You run into issues when its a more universal spacer, or you dont follow proper install or maintenance on them.

    $200 for a good spacer is still less then $500+ for new wheels. And like you said you want that close to OEM look. Another tidbit is that an OEM wheel is significantly stronger then most aftermarket ones.

    I have a full set (4) spidertac 1.25" (blue) sitting in the my basement collecting dust. 2 have never been used. I needed them when I had the pizza wheels with a 3 inch lift. That truck (2007) is sold now and I have no plans to put a lift on this one (2013).

    I personally want my wheels tucked under my truck, mainly because I don't like rocks hitting and scratching the sides of my vehicle.

    Your truck can't tell the difference between wheel spacers and aftermarket rims. Both will have the same affect on wheelbearings.
    I have also been running wheel spacers with no negative effects just check them when you rotate tires and I personally use Loctite

    i have spidertrax 1.25" all around and no problems. Just red loctite and torque. My lugs have not budged at all

    If you don't want to spend money on new wheels and do it properly. I'd say no more than 1" and I'd go with bora imo.

    I bought my 1" spacers in a group buy here on TW three years ago. I installed them and a few days later retorted them and they stayed at the same torque ever since. I can't remember what brand they are, but I know they're not Bora or Spidertrax.

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    You won't notice any extra wear off a 1.25" spacer.

    i should add, that the only off roading i do, is in the sand. im not a trail guy, or mud. i surf fish a lot and drive on the beach.

    Going to put this here instead of starting a new thread.

    Ok guys, need some advice and thoughts...

    I have a 100k+ mile 2012 4x4 Tacoma DC, TRD OR, NON-TSB 3 leaf, totally stock (well, front husky mud flaps). Currently with 1.5" rake. Here what I'm thinking about doing:

    1) Bilstein 5100 at 0.85 in front
    2) Toytec 1/2" shims in rear with 5100
    3) 1" wheel spacers
    4) 265/75/16 duratracs or similar

    My question: Will I rub?? I do quite a bit of off roading so I don't want to rub in those situations either. Will the spacers worsen or improve the chances of rubbing? Overall, anybody see other flaws in what I'm attempting? Thanks!!

    I have run them on several vehicles (two LCs, 1 T4R) with zero issues. I use Spidertrax and have the 1.25" on my current 4R. The stance looks perfect IMO. Just check at rotation time as stated above.
