I had the same shop install both, and they use the Pursuit series. Model PRO9051E

I like that it has a good long reach, I can start it from inside the house or at work from inside the building. Not sure the exact distance but well over 100 feet, probably closer to 200.

My wife is the same. Nobody hates malls more than I do but she's close.

Read the owners manual and it says the range is 1,200 feet. Temps have really dropped this week so I've used it pretty much every time I go out. Nice to have it warmed up and toasty inside.

Still don't like that it shuts off when you open the door. Funny tho, it has a couple seconds delay when you open the door. Think I might try just for fun to see if I can get in and shut the door before the engine dies. LOL.

Doubt it would make a difference, but I see it as a challenge, and then I'll press the start engine before it shuts off. Hahaha.

Think I'm going to remove the small seat behind the drivers seat. It will give me another 4 inches of space to put/keep my rolling storage/tool box. Looks to be only four bolts

So this is still a ways off (most likely June/July when I get the funds), but I've got this idea stuck in my head to possibly paint the new/full set of skids I will buy; pink. Just to make my it stand out a bit more. Either that or the sliders (buying in March is all goes according to plan).

Sound stupid or tacky? I can't decide. That and it would need to be a pale pink to go with the BBP.
Part of me wants my truck to blend in, the other part of me wants it to stand out as a chick truck on the trails, haha.

So the pink will come across as a tampon?ha ha

Eh I'm not hot, so it doesn't really work. Just seem to get a couple props for getting into offroading on my own and willing to take a brand new taco on a trail, haha.

Pink does not make it a chick truck. You owning and driving it makes it a chick truck. If color made the truck, you have a blue truck, therefore it's a boys truck?

I can't stand gender based toys (or anything) simply based on a color.
I just saw a local gal selling a "girls tricycle." I'm like 'WTF is a girls tricycle?' Is it made different.' Nope. It's pink. I guess that means boys can't use it?

How many male Tacoma owners are married and their wives claim their Tacoma is "all theirs" ? If my wife cared about TW she would be on here... Unless... She is, and I just don't know it o_O

The Tacoma in our driveway is mine. I found it. I paid cash out of my own account for it. It's registered to me. Husband has a 4Runner. That's his choice. If your wife wants a truck, get her one!
