Anyone find it funny that PJ Fleck from Western Michigan was supposedly on the radar for at least 5 coaching positions.... is still at WM? I'm wondering why he was passed up for so many big name positions? Was Row the Boat not catchy enough for other schools?

Down to 3 options now. Sark, Helfrich, and Pitt OC. Sark has a good grasp on the power/west coast with his time at USC. Helf can do spread, which is what LSU wanted to do, with a heavy dose of run (read, run first offenses). And Pitt OC is a good balanced attack guy. Maybe Kiffin picks up Sark at FAU? (edit, had my letters turned around)

I'm guessing Saban doesn't much have to "settle". Nor would he.

Was thinking something similar about Dan Mullen the other day. Guy was on the top of the coaching carousel that year, now all these program opening and his name hasn't been floated once.

He was second on Oregon's list. I think they liked Taggart's swagger better.

And now the Rams have fired Fisher...those Harbaugh rumors may hold some weight.
