    Hey Gang!

Let me hear about your all-inclusive vacation spots & ideas!!

We just got back from Mexico (Riveria Maya) and had a great time. I think we really enjoy the all-inclusive part and not having to worry about much of anything other than what you wear that day. ;)

What about some all-inclusive vacations out west? Dude ranches? Anyone have experience with those? Anything else? We want a resort with warm weather, a pool, and lots of things to do. We're game for just about anything (within reason).

What's your ideas & experiences!! Love to hear 'em!!

    Nothing?

If you've never done an all-inclusive, you should definately think about it.
The carribean locations are full of them and they're very inexpensive vacations!

My GF and I went to Jamaica to the Sandals all inclusive resort last spring break and it was AWESOME! I'm def doing it again and it was a blast!
And we paid 2k for 4nights and 5days with airfare included.
Sandals was having a 55%-60% off sale so that was really nice!

I think there are some all inclusive resorts in Nassau, Bahamas, if you're looking to go to the Carribean.

:eek: We almost took that same trip (to Riviera Maya) in August! Ended up in Kauai instead.

How was the food?? We didn't end up going because alot of people bitched and moaned about the condition of the rooms and the food being cold and "hometown buffet" taste.

It's definately not like home - but then again, you get used to certain things. My husband and I aren't into special fancy foods. Give us pizza, french fries, & steak and we're happy. I don't need my food to look like a piece of artwork before I eat it. :D

When we first ate in Mexico, the food seemed of a lesser quality. And I don't mean that in a bad way.....but I think because of the area, that might be the best they can get down there. It was good, just different cuts of meat than we're used to but still good and we certainly enjoyed eating it. I couldn't complain!

Has anyone been in Mexico (the resort areas) during Cinco de Mayo?

    What's that like?

Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is really nice and one of the cheaper Caribbean spots, it's not as well known. I really wanna go to Bermuda, it looks killer.

I've been to the Melia Cabo Real and had a good time. The resort is known for its golf course but it's generally great overall. Food and alcohol were included and it was easy to hop a bus to downtown Cabo San Lucas for $1 US.

All-inclusives tend not to be my thing as it's too pre-canned. I like variables and despise rules on my vacations but for an all-inclusive this place wasn't bad.

Have been all-inclusive on a number of occasions.

Puerta Plata DR - 3 times
Punta Cana DR - 5 times (married there)
Cuba - 2 times and booking a third trip for April 2010

Food has never been an issue for me, beer is actually not bad! Try Presidente in the DR, and Cristal in Cuba!
