could also be all the deals you get buying a domestic.
    84 months 0% financing?
    all the dealer pricing etc.

which is funny because its not 0%, pay cash and suddenly its 6000 cheaper.
They just tuck it into the price of the truck and then say 0%.

Thing is they are also talking just a ram or f150.
No shit they are the highest selling look how many construction companies buy them?
When it comes to construction applications sure would take a half ton if not 3/4 ton over a tacoma.
But I'm not using it for work, more for play.

You can get cheap f150s too. Don't forget they list every F150 sold as an F150, not considering trim. Each raptor, king ranch etc are thrown in that. Including all the 4x2 work trucks you see the city workers driving usually.
Don't get me wrong for certain things yes I would take a full size over a tacoma for sure, my uncle has the ram eco diesel and loves it, and I've driven it, its a great truck.
But he needs the towing of a fullsize I don't
Many of the guys I work with are the same way though. They don't actually need a truck for work, they just have it to say they ahve a truck and likely because when they worked at GM or Ford they got a great deal.

I'm honestly curious...what makes the 4wd system better than toyotas crawl control and MTS? I don't even own a toyota bud. I do know the tires on the raptor are much better.

Dude you need to get off the Tacoma bandwagon, the TRD Pro is a sad joke compared to the Raptor as far as offroad capability, maybe has it in smaller trails, sections, but only that.

I'd be concerned with reliability off road in a raptor with the ecoboost.
And they're too wide for some of the trails

It's not even on the same level as a raptor

Raptor is the next level truck

I'm far from the tacoma bandwagon, i don't even own a toyota vehicle. I am just curious what does the raptor have as far as the 4wd system that makes it more capable then cc and mts? You havn't answered that question.

I'm just thinkng all the trails I've gone on...raptors are always getting pulled out by someone because they always get stuck.

Could just be that most of the raptor owners are dumb fucks and just buy it to say I own a raptor and think they can off road when they know nothing about it.
Kind of like Hummer H2 guys
I remember finding a H2 stuck in the mud and the guy didn't even know how to put it in 4x4...

    I go to Baja Mexico
And I go to ocatillo wells

For us it's about high speed off roading

I used my 100 series land cruiser before

    Tight trails isn't my thing

If owning a raptor lowers my IQ, so be it :)

    Here's some:

    - The Ko2's everyone is in love with here were designed specifically for the raptor.
    - 6 different drive modes
    - 3.0 fox shocks over TRD pro's 2.0 with internal bypass for variable damping rates
    - Torsen front differential (sends power to separate wheels to avoid slipping)
    - Fully boxed frame
    - 13 plus inches of suspension travel
    - 0-60 in 6.1 secs

Well coming from a OR owner and my buddies who also have ORs and use them, crawl control is more of a neato feature, MTS is nice and the raptor has that with the various drive modes.

From a suspension travel, skid plates under the entire truck instead of the Tacoma pro, the tires, actual available beadlocks, faster engine, better towing/hauling, etc. its just a better truck all around, it does cost more and is a different animal but you get more for your money and far more value/bang for the buck unless you start decking it out with the $9k tech package, etc. (which includes panoramic sunroof and 360 camera, etc.).

Alrighty, i knew the raptor had the better tires, along with fully boxed frame. trd pro has 2.5 shocks I'm pretty sure and I know about the drive modes...although I'm not sure how that relates to the 4wd system being more capable.

I did not know about the torsen front differential which is a pretty cool feature.

    Was that so hard?

I almost bought a '15 ram sport before I bought my '16 4Runner. They took 16k off msrp and 0% intrest. So a 62k truck was 46k and 0 percent put payments cheaper than a dclb Trd sport at ~5% intrest. But i didn't buy it because I wanted a change in vehicles. When you compare what that ram had for features to the taco it wasn't even in the same ball park. Anyways IMO this is why the big 3 sell so well. Most people that buy a new truck keep it for 5 years or so and are very happy with them. I know I was in the 4 years I had my ram sport.

....^^^... A Crown Vic is bigger, cheaper and can haul more than a Porsche 911 ... but I will take the 911 any day ... same analogy with a Taco, IMO. :)

maybe for stuff like that yes it is definitely better.
But for overlanding and the more crawling type wheeling I do on tight trails no thanks.
    Taco is much better.
