OK, I bought the vent visor things for the windows. Came with installation guide and all that. but when I went to put it in, apparently I bent it a little too much and it broke a big chunk out. Then when I took it out it broke the rest of the way, obviously with my temper I threw it as far as I could.
Anyways, any of you guys with the visors have any tips for installation so that I can avoid this again?
    Thanks.

My only tip would be, don't try to install them when it is super cold outside...

Were they Weathertech's or a different brand?

I had a bit of a challenge as well. I just installed the in trac vent visor, so I assume you tried this one also? But the instructions state to peel the tape near the mirror and a bit on the end towards the top of the window and fed those 2 ends in first. Creating a slight bow to the plastic. Then put some firm pressure to make sure it was ligned up and then remove the remaining tape covering so the adhesive can attach inside the track.

One area that i needed to modify is up near the mirror it's a flat piece about 2" long , when I would open and close the window it would catch on this piece. So i used the dremel and removed about 3/8" of plastic and it put some 3m adhesive it this point and it opens and closes fine. For some reason this only happened on the drivers side? passenger side is fine.

I would just take your time and what seems like a no-brainer can always be some sort of challenge when dealing with plastic as it always seems each piece is slightly different.

They are nice in the rippin heat of AZ to leave the window cracked and also on a rainy day.

    Good luck.

Yeah I was having the same problem when I did a dry fit. what I did was put it behind the rubber on the mirror. Seemed to be working fine.. until I tried to peel the tape off and put it in place..
