Sweet! Thanks man! Do you have a winch? I only know of the trails near the Air Force Annex, do you know of any more trails that i can try out?

No winch, just standard recovery gear. There is not whole bunch of off roading trails due to the lake being mostly Corp of engingers property. most everything that was ever used by vehicle is closed off. I hunt over in Cooke co. on public land where the Red river comes into the lake northwest of Gordonville.

Cool. I wish I got the nitrochargers instead of the 5100's but oh well. I'm getting some used Dakars on Jan 7 for my truck so that ought to be nice.

Yes, just have to be careful of type 2 land which requires an extra permit but that's mainly in Fannin county at the Caddo national grass land area.

That is like driving down a dirt road to get to the pavilions. I have seen stock 2016 tacomas go farther than that!

    Truck stuff
I plan on going to barnwell in jan. I cant go for all 3 days but will at least make it out for Saturday and possibly Sunday. I'm not sure if I'll drive out after work friday or just wake up early and drive out saturday morning. My sliders should be on by then, I got the shipping email today!

My truck is and will be full stock suspension. I'll push it as far as I can without too much risk to damage. If I destroy the stock skids it'll just give me more reason to upgrade to real skids!

Jan 13 is a Friday and we typically get there at night and set up since we all head out after work so we can mess around all night figuring what we forgot and waking up to cook breakfast and start a day of wheeling.

All of the local motorcycle/atv stores sell the OHV stickers, too. I got mine at Grapevine Kawasaki back in Sept.

Unless you're in Fort Worth, then none of them do.

I also do not have a locker and i havent had any problems with the stuff ive been through at bridgeport. You will be ok, i think if you come out and ride with someone you will see its not as bad as it looks.

I got 4x4 and a locker, but my problem is I have never used them. This is my first 4x4 and all I know is what I watched on youtube. I will be out there and try what I'm comfortable with. I dont want to damage anything. But if I could learn to use the tools my truck offers that would be great and alot of fun i think.
