    Yes, it was mentioned.
We are still awaiting somebody to cite the TSB ID number... nobody has provided one, so such a TSB remains unconfirmed.

I'm still a new Taco owner and recently experienced this exact noise...twice!
Same intermittent kazoo noise...both times at highway speeds on windy days.
Commenting to sub to this thread.
    Thanks!

I have the same issue , the wind noise sounds like a horn and is very annoying , I seem only to have problem when wind is blowing side to side but happens even at lower speeds . I am going back to the dealer , I've got less than 5000 miles on a 2015 double cab Prerunner , I'm not going to cut my weatherstripping and experiment with fixes. I'll keep everyone posted.

Good luck to you! I hope they work with you. Less than 5k ought to give you plenty of leverage.

I've recently purchased(3/1/2016) a 2015 Tacoma Sport/ four door. I heard the Kazoo noise within a week of purchase. Same story, left to right crosswind with 20+ mph winds. Driving normal road speeds. I've been in touch with the service manager and he is telling me Toyota is on it and should have a fix soon. I really hope he's not blowing smoke up my ass. In the mean time I have video, dates of conversations, names, etc... I will be keeping my fingers crossed and will let you all know what I find out. Until then, I will remain a thorn in their side!

I always forget to update my experience. My $5 drain/drip line 'fix' has worked flawlessly since I did it and that was MONTHS ago. Is it a permanent fix, no. But for $5 and 5 minutes of your time it will stop the noise in the interim while Toyota comes up with a TSB. Just a thought.

I brought my truck to the dealer for its recommended maintenance check, and asked about a fix for the wind noise. The service rep's eyes brightened and he said something like "yes, a LOT of people have been complaining about that, and a TSB has been released!"

I then asked him if the TSB was for the "kazoo noise" or for the wind noise that is heard on the driver's side ... he said something like "it is for the wind noise" ... but, I think he was unable to be specific... maybe he just did not know. He also said he did not know if the "fix" will initiate a recall, or if it would be a TSB to be applied only if the customer complained.

Then, I asked if I could get the fix ... he said, "no, the parts are not here yet". Also, he could not give me a TSB number or the type of part that was supposed to be delivered.

    Suspicion:
The TSB was for the "kazoo noise", and the parts are rubber inserts for the control arms' holes.

If anybody has heard different, please keep us informed!

I did the weatherstripping trick, and worked like a damn champ! I stripped every door on the truck after it

Last time I complained about it at my 10K servicing, the service tech said he would have his technician check for it during his test drive.
Sure enough, I get a call about an hour or so later claiming they heard nothing.
I, of course say that's impossible. I hear it all the time.
He then says come on down and drive it with the technician yourself..
I show up, drive it with the technician and not a single peep during our test drive. I am furious.
2 weeks later, wind noise is back.
Clearly they are aware of the issue and know how to provide very intermittent solutions but refuse to admit there is a problem.

I had a similar noise in my 07 prerunner. We fixed it by removing the front license plate

What size and type of tubing did you use to beef up this seal?

That sounds like mine. When it does it, if I push out at the top of the door (where it meets the cab), I can change the sound. Just placing your finger there, you can feel the wind push the door/seal around.
