x2...that's what they are saying....who's they I don't know I started a thread "OME 9000 sport shocks" but know one seems to have installed them to post there finding about the "new" shocks...SO I'm waiting to see what some TW members post when they install them, or maybe I might just be the first since I want the ome set-up. ;):D that reminds me I'm going to bump my thread, maybe someone has installed them!!

I'm finally 99% sure what to get!

    Toytec Ultimate! :D

I have been reading posts and talking with friends for over 2 months now! I feel like I know too much and nothing at all at the same time.

I'm going Ultimate for the adjustability, I will feel better about a self install if I know there is some ability to correct the height. I want to set it at 3".

I'm still unclear on the impotance of the UCA's. I do not plan on doing anything extreme with my truck. If anything, slow trail driving to go fish or surf. The top speed limit on our island is 55mph and I rarely go much faster.

Will there be noticeable drift in the ride?

Does anyone have any nightmare stories with this kit under normal driving conditions?

Will I really need new UCA's if this is all I do?

On to figuring out my wheels. I'm pretty much set on the 32" BFG AT KO's This will be my 3rd truck with them.

Will the OME or toytech eliminate the drift that usually comes along with 3 inch spacers?

My wife says she is nervous when she drives my truck on the highway because of the drift. Yes I let her drive the truck. Hopefully she will want to mod it.

That is probably from the stock UCA's. The OME and Toytec will give you a better ride, and along with UCA's it will get your alignment specs back to normal, which should eliminate the drifting.

    Good choice ;)
Many people don't experience the wandering at high speeds, where as many do.
The lower you set the front, less likely you will experience this. Plus, a good alignment shop to work at hitting the specs goes a LOONG way!

It comes down to personal preference. Some people would say yes you do, some say no you don't. Depends on how anal you are.

The owner runs a 09 with our Ultimate Kit with no UCA's. But we are really happy with our alignment shop over here also.

The main reason to purchase the UCA's is to help with the caster in your alignment. With the arms, you are able to hit factory specs much easier.

It is something you can try down the road if your unhappy without them. But if you have $425 bucks to spare on them, I would go for it! :D

the toytecs are actually a lot better than i thought they'd be. i dont have new UCAs for my 3 inch lift and i rarely drift at any speed. depends who puts on ur lift and if they do the alignment right. if you find a good shop, you can wait on new UCAs. my ultimate coilovers are holding up great, but my rear bilstein (driver side) snapped. toytec sent out a new one even though i had the lift for a year. tacomagarret_e73905339e1eb7de4793f7f52a1d3cd2fecd7af7.jpg

Usually the OME coils will return you approximately 2 - 2 1/2 inches of lift.

Our discount is site wide and you get 5% discount.
