...^^^... BS ... make them crazy and use COSTCO or TrueCar pricing and tell them you will order it without that stuff and see if they lower the price.

I bough my sport , automatic ,double cab with more extras than this and only paid about $1500 more
So I do think that price is pretty high

My deal: Ordered and signed for a: 2017 V6 SR5 AC cab, 4x4, AT, Blue, One option: Tow package. This price includes a stupid $75 admin fee, 2yrs or 25K free routine maintenance, and a Lifetime (as long as I own it) Powertrain warranty W/$100 ded. (this is dependent on all recommended maint. being verifiable).
$31,414 (this includes no state or local taxes - in Mo Buyer takes care of this at registration)

...^^^... Good price ... I have same truck (2016) with a few other options, tint and 3m bra, etc., in 4x2 configuration for $27,744. OTD with no taxes.

Add your 4x4 option price and we are close to the same price.

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    Here is my #1420 post:

Just looked at my invoice (at tag office getting tag new sticker).

$27,744.00 OTD with all dealer fees and I am tax exempt (this includes $599.00 dealer fee BS)

2016 SR5 .. AC/LB .. V6 .. auto .. tow .. some appearance package .. clear 3M Bra, fenders and mirrors (took all that stuff off) .. upgraded audio .. front door window's tint .. clear door edge guards .. lifetime warranty BS .. and few other options I can't remember.

Got about $2,900.00 off list ... good, but not a great deal.

I added an OEM bed mat .. UnderCover SE .. F&R WeatherTechs .. & double seat covers for about another $1,000.00 total.

Real question here ....and I'm not hating or anything I'm just trying to understand ...
Why did u bought a truck that is only a 2x4 truck ?
    Isn't the point of buying a truck , to get a 4x4 ?

    ...^^^... Good question:

I have had maybe 10 to 12 Toyota trucks and had 4x4's in the past. Now, just need a home depot truck to finish a remodel on my house, then sell it and get a fun car.

I do ZERO off road now ... so a simple 4x2 was what I needed and I am in the south where there is very little snow.

If I lived in another area, a 4x4 would be a must. :)

See that's what I want to see an OTD, tax, title, and doc fees below MSRP. Great Deal I think.

Most quotes and offers the dealers give me seem to be right at MSRP once all is said and done OTD pricing.

i wouldnt have been able to get that had i ordered a 17 but because it came with options i didnt necessarily want they just took the cost of those features off the price to move the truck.

I'm going to look for more 2016's I guess at that heavy of a discount. I found this one 50 miles away.

The local dealer with the access cab TRD Sport 4x4 Manual with tech wanted OTD $1k under msrp if I remember correctly.
They were like we want to move this truck, yet it's been there at the dealer since July. I wonder why.

Why would you need to see info on the taxes --this varies from state to state ansd here in Mo it even varies as to which county you live in.
Also the dealer/document/admin fees are pure dealer profit also they are "PURE BULL-CRAP....

I didn't say I want to see the tax paid, I'm just saying no matter where he's located that's a good deal.

I want to see a tacoma come my way that marked down. It's hard to do, and you can't get impatient.

My tax is only 4% maybe a little less, I can't remember.

So , let me see-- if someone includes the taxes paid in the OTD price --how can you figure what the heck they paid for the VEHICLE, that is unless you have tax tables for every single Toyota dealer location in the US. Oh wait there is a problem with that as well --here we pay taxes based on not on where we buy -but on where we live. Get my point?
Sorry to be a PIA but you NEED to leave any taxes out of the equation to get a true representation of what someone paid. Hint: you may also ask the person to separate any dealer fees out of the mix as well. I have been doing this all my life -- well most of it --I am 69. BTW-- I have NEVER traded a vehicle in to get a new one. This REALLY clouds the issue!
    Good luck on your search!

Has anyone had any luck on dealerships coming off the "internet price"? Looking at a truck that is around $2k off MSRP and wondering if anyone's had luck with getting them to come down more.

Sorry if this has been covered in this thread.
