Where did you find the yoke separate from the shaft? I need a front yoke for my rear shaft.

Sorry I didn't get it built faster. I'm finally got up with the black Friday orders( just my stuff I'm not sure about the other departments) minus a Suzuki T-case and transmission.. And now I have a cold that is killing me .

You are probably going to need to modify a shifter. Did I email you what instructions we have? Hoping to do full install instructions soon .

I don't check this too often so if ya have any questions just email me lowrangejames@gmail.com If ya don't already have my email

Finally pulled the trigger on a crawlbox.
While Atlas is the way to go it seems like with tons and 40s +, I'm planning on keeping the Toyota drivetrain and the boxes seemed to be holding up to the heavier 2nd gen tacos.

Picked up and Inchworm box, Marlin 4.7 comp chromo gears, and picked up a MRC bearing to help deal with the balls falling out of the bearing fill slot over time.

Greg I'm confused I might has screwed up..

I see a Taco dual case adapter.. and then 4.7s.. are you going to be running dual gear driven t-cases or gear driven crawl box to a Tacoma T case? Looks like either way we need to swap you some parts

Or are you putting the 4.7s in the crawl box? But we could have sold you one with 4.7s in it already..

No worries, The order it was actually done intentionally.
Setup is gear driven crawlbox into Tacoma case.

I was comparing the TG vs Marlin 4.7s and was sold on the Marlin gears.
However buying a Marlin complete crawlbox is out of the question due to their outrageous wait times (months & months).

Attempting to build the best of both worlds,

    Low range/Inchworm
    -Fast turn around
-In my opinion, better oiling system for the dual row bearing
-Your dual row bearing does not utilize the problematic "fill slot" - Google some TTORA threads about balls falling out if this doesn't make sense.
    - Awesome Cyber Monday deal
-Did I mention fast turn around time?
-Since the crawlbox is assembled, I have everything needed to swap in the Marlin 4.7s. (Seals, c-clips, etc.)

    Marlin
    -Chromoly gear set
-Gears have a better oiling system machined into them
    -Total spline on the input

Also was comparing the Advance Adapters coupler that comes with your guys kit, to the fitment on the current 23 spline gears vs. the Marlin 23 spline gear set. The is a very noticeable tolerance difference between the two.

I'll post measurement findings when I get a chance, intend for this to be a very detailed build up.

-BTW great kit so far, having the RTV, drill bits, and misc tools come with the kit is very appealing and should be mentioned on your website about the crawlbox !

Nice! You can probably get some money out of that 23 spline input it's brand new..

The piece tig welded to the shift fork will probably need to be ground down. We weld them a little higher for 4.7s but I'm pretty sure I just put a normal one in this box.

I look forward to following the progress.

Yep, I figured there is probably at least one person out there that has a 21 spline looking to upgrade for a few bucks.
Good to know about the shiftfork, was already expecting some grinding on that or re-welding wont be an issue. Expecting to run into a few small surprises/modifications along the way.

    Good looking out !

Yeah should be pretty straight forward , grind rail a little.. ground housing , swap gears and bolt it back together . Enjoy it . Looks like you have put a lot of work into your "Prerunner"

4.7 crawl boxes are nice . Just remember that when having the crawl box in low and the rear case in High you are putting crazy amounts of torque onto the input of the rear case . So I recommend both cases in low or just rear in low and Try not to use front case in low rear in high unless you have to .

Just the 4.7 is weird... Tried it once on the flat just to see the speed in 1st. gear. Compound low in 2nd. gear is where I do most of the crawling.

Okay guys don't laugh but trying to understand this a bit better. So with a crawlbox and the stock taco tcase behind it. Should never put crawlbox in low and rear case in high. But could you put crawlbox in high and rear in low? Also with the crawlbox does that mean you can have 2wd low? ( I don't think so but thought I'd ask)

If you are going through all the work to install one of these it's kind of pointless to use the stock t-case. You do not get the advantage of a manual shift from the FJ case swap.
Yes a crawbox would give you 2 low but it would be 2low to the crawlbox ratio with the stock t-case still in high.
The FJ case swap alone will give you 2 low - no crawlbox needed.
