    Might be an older car thing and when I did it. 1996 Acura RL and 2000 Honda Civic Si. Both were able to pass about 4 years go using the Torque app and clearing the codes literally right before I pulled in. The CEL would kick off as soon as I started to get on the main road.

    Acura had weird codes that cycled around a lot. I honestly thing the ECU was going out. The Civic didn't have cats/O2 senors at all. I haven't tried it on anything newer.

    I just looked and 2000 is the cutoff so I bet thats why...

    "Vehicles from model year 1996 through and including 2000, cannot be tested if presented for a test with more than two emissions systems reporting “not ready”. Vehicles from model year 2001 and newer cannot be tested if presented for a test with more than one system reporting “not ready”

    I did it in my 4x4 Nismo Frontier without much trouble so I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, but I'd like to avoid damage to my new Taco if possible. I haven't been on the trail for a few years now...

    The North of Sedona on the Rim location is the one id like to camp for Expo
