Yeah, I'm waiting to see if this is just some speculations or what he's rally doing. Mainly bc if he paid 55k he way over paid.

    I misspoke
Im talking about what the sticker price was. They added 650 for ugly running boards, so I guess it was 3,900
hope your rolled eyes feel better :bikewhoops:

    Don't worry about rolled eyes

    Congrats on a great deal

Few people understand that dealership doesn't just sell one unit

    They have hold backs
Bonus in total units sold etc

So even if they sold one unit "where they lost money" like people proclaim they are making up on other units easily

Yups...here we go again. I'd just like to see the break down of how someone is able to buy a Taco for less than factory invoice

The pink sheet doesn't show how you agree on the price. It only shows the price you got it for.

If you want to know how, start at places like Mountain States Toyota or Toyota Autonation Denver. Last I checked, and it may have changed, they advertised around $2800 off. That became the starting point. Then play one dealership against another. That's how I got to $3800 off. Then I got another $250 off the side steps (that I didn't want but my truck had them from the factory) for $4050 off. Then $500 military rebate for $4550 off. Pink sheet doesn't tell you how it is done, only that it was done.

I have purchased three cars from them in the past, I shopped around, I went on the last day of the month.
I'll see what color sheet I can find.
I don't remember pink. I think the deal was written on a yellow sheet. More tan actually. I brought my own financing, so I think all it had was price, taxes and tags.
Sooo, wouldn't you want a picture of the sticker as well? Just to make sure I'm not fibbing. If I find these papers and post them, will you reply with capitol letters that I am a truthful good dealer getter? I don't know why anyone would lie about what they paid. I paid sticker for the first two vehicles I bought from them. I saved some off sticker on the third. Then I bought a Jeep and didn't care if I bought a Jeep that day or not. Never liked haggling but I kept saying no and they kept going down. I saved about same amount off the sticker price of the Jeep. This is a big dealer in Northern Virginia. I decided after that, with patience and a real willingness to walk, you can save ass loads of money. I will never pay less than 3 grand under sticker on anything ever again.

That's awesome! I got mine from Northern Virginia as well. Deals can be had there for sure. I didn't even have to negotiate for mine and I got about 3k under msrp.

I know what dealer you went to I think. I used their price to battle the one in Fredericksburg. I wanted to buy local but would have driven back up north to save the thousand we were stuck on.
