FWIW ... I would go with the TRD Pro if I could get a decent deal on it.

...^^^... Not sure I need one at this point. Probably keep my SR5 until I finish working on my house (next few months) and then get a more fun car.

....^^^... Insane pricing ......... Does this Raptor have the "Eco-Boost V6" in it?

Personally, I could not buy a raptor with a "6 Banger" in it. .............. A "5.0L Eco-Boost" is due out soon, I think

I appreciate the advice. I guess that's what the decision will be in the end. I don't feel I do enough off reading to truly justify the Pro, but like others have said, it's about what you want sometimes. I'm finally at a point in my life I can buy a vehicle I want, not just what has the lowest monthly payment.

Considering it's on 8 pages now that's pretty surprising for a 3rd gen thread. Maybe we are finally growing up a little. Bahahaha who am I kidding? o_O

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

The limited doesn't have crawl control, multi terrain or E lockers. The Pro does. The Pro doesn't have a sunroof & JBL. The limited does.

I've driven company vehicles for the past 12 years and finally decided to buy. I wasn't going to settle so I bought exactly what I wanted. It took me 2 tries but I got it.

Good! And it looks awesome in that red, too. It wouldn't normally be my style to buy a red vehicle, but I really like the way it looks on the Pro. Even my wife, who thinks all trucks are ugly said the red looks "hot". I'd rank them 1. Cement 2. Barcelona Red 3. Super white. But honestly I'd own any of the three...

The dark cloth really doesn't show stuff. Also it's trivial to apply a bunch of 303 Fabric Protectant. A 32oz bottle will do the seats on a double-cab.

Leather vs cloth... I've had both. After twelve years the leather trimmed seats in my 4runner were pretty tore up where the vinyl parts had failed/cracked. After twelve years the fabric seats in a Saturn SC2 I'd owned showed no appreciable wear.

When I was looking at the Pro in comparison to the OR, I really didn't like how "shouty" the Pro embroidery was in the seats. Personal preference.

Something I'm not sure was mentioned is that dealerships will discount the limited but maybe not the pro.
In my case I was looking at the Limited and Off Road (with Premium and Tech Package) when I bought in March (actually looked in early February but had to order and received in mid to late March.
My dealer discounted my Off Road down to where we were out the door with all taxes and south east markups and everything for about $100 under Toyotas MSRP without that stuff, I would have to find all the paperwork, but Off the top of my head somewhere around $3500-$4000 Off. I was only slightly interested in the Limited because I actually like the hickory interior, but dislike all the chrome on the outside of the truck. They were willing to sell the Limited for just $1000 more than the Off Road, which we would have been out the door something close to $5000 off! (I don't remember exact numbers, we refused to talk to them in any numbers besides out the door pricing, it is too easy for them to tack on other charges otherwise.) They had one coming in two weeks sooner, in my color (white), and I guess in my area at least the Limiteds are not selling well. (The Off Road was also an allocation on its way but was exactly what I told them I wanted. I may not have gotten such a discount if the truck was not already on its way).

I love the Off Road and ended up installing Katzkin leather, which looks just like factory, but I went with Black. Had the kit come with door panels and a panel for the dash I likely would have gone tan or brown.

Anyway, while the MSRP of the Pro and Limited may seem like they are close, likely the Pro is really much more expensive. That said, if you don't get what you want you will probably never be 100% happy with the truck and will regret it.

I've never cared for red either until I had the opportunity to buy this truck. I could have gotten cement but I liked the red better. I'm glad I got it. The amount of compliments I get on it is crazy. Everybody has cement, I was the first one on TW & the 1st in the GST region to have red.

Good point, dealers will discount Limited's but you're paying pretty much msrp for the pro. Some dealers are ripping people off by marking them up. Good dealers don't do that though. I got mine a little under msrp.

For the price you built online in the limited trim, you could buy a pro. If the non jbl stereo is an issie, order the oem plus stereo system online for 1500 that blows jbl out of the water. I would go pro....in fact, I did! Lol

    Do it

Pro is a panty dropper, even if the panties are XL on a 47 year old :D
