    It will be interesting to see if there other stores in the area close.
    We have quite a few Ace stores in the county. I like them a lot, they have a decent variety of stainless hardware and such.

    Glad your back up and running with the new Battery Mike. Be Safe!

    Funny I see MQQSE crossings all the time when I go home but have never actually seen one near them lol. We had one walking around the road out front of the house one day though and imagine that no signs lol . Damn MQQSE can't follow simple pictorial instructions :}

    Hell I am glad I only have one to be financially responsible for at the moment . I mentioned it a while back but I will eventually be in court with the kennel I had him at this past august when I went on vacation . They almost killed him and I am still dealing with the issue they caused. Currently I have laid out 6k since 14 Aug to get him back to about 60 percent still has a leg wound that is healing slowwwwwwwwwwly. That is on top of the 2.1k the kennel paid for the first vet bills before they said they weren't paying anymore.

    That reminds me of the lady that called the radio station complaining about where the state put the deer crossing signs. She sincerely felt they should be put in places where there was less traffic and the state was being very irresponsible putting them where the deer had to cross through all the traffic

    Not a problem only mentioned it no description as to what happened etc short version it is my belief they over booked and since he was older and I did not want him running the yard just out to walk around and stretch they put him in a crate vs the kennel I paid for. I got back on a Friday morning early after being gone for 2 weeks and was woken with a call from my father telling me the kennel was trying to get ahold of me Saxon was sick. All they told him was he was lethargic his leg was swollen and he did not eat the night before. I called them they wanted me to come get him and take him to the vet or did I want them to do it . I live 45 min away I told them get him to the vet and which one I was on my way. I got there in well lets say under 45 min . It was had been extremely hot so he was very tiny hair away from heat stroke , in addition he had ulcers on both front elbows from laying down so much (left side almost down to the bone skin is still healing over) , soaked in urine according to the first vet they took him to he had to have fluids and antibiotics (sepis) etc. 24 hour care for 3 days, 2 surgeries antibiotics you have to wash your hands after touching the pills were 200.00 alone it was them or 150 dollar a shot series for 10 shots to combat the infection he had. There is more to this but you get the idea . I would post the pictures but they are not pretty . Mind you I had used this kennel before and it was happy and had you asked me where to take your dog I would have sent you there told you it was expensive but worth it ..

    Hopefully it wasn't a snake bite. Our greyhound (passed now) was bitten by a copperhead at a kennel and they have laws to protect them

    I thought spider bite originally when I got the call we have had 2 dogs at work get bitten by brown recluses but read what I posted for what really happened . That sucks you would think the kennel would treat the area around to keep them away. From what I recall down in TX friends of mine who owned Arrow Valley kennels / Aquarius Pet Stores in the 80's they had a 3 foot border around their kennels and bldg.'s with sand and DE mixed into it along with some sort of commercial snake spray / gel (?) .

    I asked he be only walked on a leash. He was let run in an enclosure instead. They tried to play it off like he was sick. When I got him to the er his temp was so high it wouldn't register. He lost all skin on inside of front leg. Almost passed. I slept on floor with him for 3 weeks and he spent every day at vet's. He was my buddy and loved me til the end even saved me the pain of watching him suffer more. Today is his death date four years ago and I still miss him today. Love ya buddy

    No not fully the left elbow because he was so dehydrated and sick ( lost 10 lbs) when they did the surgery to remove the necrotic tissue his skin did not hold the stitches right over the elbow they tore loose and the vet could not re do it as the skin was papery and it would have been pulled to taut . So I change bandages 2 to 3 times a day and use Granulex V Aerosol Spray 4 oz by Zoetis after trying several other products it is working it started out the size of a dollar coin now down to about a 50 cent piece. Vet wants to try laser treatments problem in healing is I have to keep it covered or crate him all day so keeping it covered slows the healing. I am considering the laser first set is 375 for ten treatments and go from there.
