Sell Tacoma for BMW M3? KEEPING TACOMA

Sometimes no choice. My best friend wants a convertible with real rear seats.

We looked at everything from 911, to XKR, to E400 etc.

She prefers the IS250c/IS350C, which are so old and dated now. There is no new Solara. G37 Convertible rear seat almost unusable.

There is no Japanese convertible with rear seats. As a result, she is thinking of leasing German instead of buying German CPO. She hates German cars

 

The hell are they feeding you kids?!? Lol

I paid $261/month full cov for a shitty Honda Civic when I was 18.

Smarter to lease German. On the Solara (not a fan) had one and it had tremendous cowl shake (on uneven bumps) with top down.

Dealer later told me it come over as a H/T and had top cut off in CA ... ... where it was modified for the US market.

Not sure if it was true on the CA mod ... had 1,200 miles on it and sold it to a lady plant manager who ran a Cheerios cereal plant here ... lol

 

Yeah ASC used to do the Toyota convertible conversations. Same as Celica.


I told her she needs to lease C300/E400/M4 etc.

Yeah. Her budget is 100K. I told her lime green M4 or smurf blue M4. But those colors were too much

...^^^... I saw my first lime green M4 this past week at a restaurant ... that color was a bit much to look at everyday.

 

Love that color. One in my office.

 

I'd like an M3, too... but no way could that thing tow my boat. Sooooo, I'll stick with the Tacoma.

I never got bored of any of my BMWs... but I never had JUST the BMW. I always had a Toyota truck/SUV to supplement.

 

I saw a burnt orange(looking, not sure of actual color name) M3 a few months ago. The owner told me it was a factory color only offered for a few years and he had the car brought over from Germany. It looked amazing. I drooled on it a little bit.

It was an older M3(08?). I googled that color and I don't think that was it for some reason. Maybe it was faded over the years...
