Yeah I'm retarded. It was a yellow/green color. I couldn't remember and was thinking burnt orange for some reason.

    That is Austin Yellow

I had a Phoenix Yellow M coupe. Should have never sold it. Wanted an Evergreen M coupe S54. Stock market crashed, and couldn't afford it anymore.

Is it rare or was he full of shit? I've never seen one around here that's why I asked him about it. I've always like the "skittles" colors that Dodge has been using. :anonymous:

Austin Yellow, Sakhir Orange, Laguna Blue, aren't really rare, here in Los Angeles. You can see a few a day easily

This is Signal Green. Same as the one in my office. This is rarer.

To the OP: You should buy what you can afford and don't live beyond your means.

But if money wasn't a factor, buy what you think you would utilize more. I for one don't go off roading all that much but need the truck for work and dog purposes so the Tacoma is a obvious choice for me. If it wasn't for my dogs though, M3 all day. But then again, i've got the GTR for the occasional track day... =P

That green is intense. I personally would never buy an M4 though, especially when the M2 is around :D

I have had a M car in the stable a long time. However, nothing since my E36M3 LTW.

Really wanted a 1M, but got a 211 at that time. Next up in the garage will be a Morgan 3 wheeler or Ariel Atom. The current M cars don't speak to me anymore. The M2, as much of a drivers car as it is, and a true descendant of the E30M3, it is ugly. I don't want an ugly Mcar.

If I was forced to buy one today, I would buy a blue Alpina B7. Then again even those are getting dime a dozen these days...

...^^^... My neighbor has a GTR as a daily driver and an original GT-40 as one of his fun cars.

Both of those cars have the best factory exhaust note sounds out there ... music to my ears ... love to hear them.

Agreed GTR sounds amazing. My neighbor is getting rid of his E63S (which sounds amazing), and awaiting order of a DB11. His wife has a XKR-S which sounds wicked.

haha. I'm not big on the looks of the M2 either but the fact that it's basically a E46 with modern anmenities really piques my interest.

Regarding the Aerial atom, I'd love to have one but I didn't know those were legal state side?

    Wait. What? haha.

Pretty sure your neighbor has an aftermarket exhaust on his GTR cause the factory one sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

Been legal state side for a long time. My friend got one back in 2007 when Brammo was selling it from OR. These days TMI sells it out of Virginia.

Interesting. Might be a worthwhile pick up as a track toy.

Still remember when Jeremy Clarkson drove it on top gear and his face was squashed lol.

Yeah. My friend got it after that. His is Ecotec. Almost got 60K miles on it. The v8 is too much money, so going to settle for a Honda SC. Its just the 3 wheeler morgan dealer is right across the street, and it is more tempting, given my penchant for British and Japanese cars these days.

Miata with an LS. You can find old high mileage bodies for cheap and LS's are everywhere and cheap. Plus it would be a fun project. If you wreck it at the track then find another Miata. No big loss.
