Hey all, having some trouble finding road conditions to sloquet hotsprings from pemberton access. We have a trip planned this weekend, and I'm hoping the snow and ice isn't too bad.

    Anybody have any info?

    Thanks!

I was thinking of going up there this weekend, too, but don't think that'll happen after all. Let me know how it is when/if you go up.

IIRC, there's a Facebook group ran by the locals that always has updates on road conditions and such. My biggest worry would be that the springs got completely washed out by the rains we've had for the last few months. Bring a few shovels to dig them out - might be your only option.

Thanks for the info! I'm not on face book, so I didn't think to look there. I will let you know if we make it!

Yeah, I'm not on there either. Just have a dummy account for looking up things like this. This is the latest content from that group:

    Post 12 hrs ago:
    - "Snow all the way to the pools as of 13th Dec."
    - Friends of friends report: I heard the roads were treacherous - main FSR bad and the final sloquet road even worse. Big tires, chains and a winch were needed.

On Nov 6 someone reported that the tubs are "back in action after 4 hours of rebuilding."

Sounds like as long as you can make it to the springs, you're in for a good time.

Well, I was really eager to get there, but some of the girls I was with couldn't handle the cold so we called it early before we made it out there =[ so unfortunately, I have no info for you. I want to try again though

Too bad. Shoot me a PM if you decide to go sometime in the next few months. I'd be up for spending a few nights there. Have all next week free, too.

@WormSquirts A few friends of mine tried to make it up there on the weekend but to no avail. And he's in a Chevy lifted 12" on 38s. Said he was pushing snow. Made it to about 70KM and had to turn around.

Wow crazy, last weekend? Which side did they go in from? They made it so close too! I think it's only ~85km in from the Pemberton side, which I had heard was mostly plowed

From the Harrison side. It was snowing like crazy when he went up to. Said by the time they started the FSR to the time they got back there was almost a foot of new snow. He was deff close! It's about 90KM from that side.
