All you guys who run this setup with a 4x4 trd sport or off road, is your truck sitting pretty level? I bought the toytec 3 inch with 5100 shocks, but my front end sits a whole two inches lower then the rear and is very noticeable. A little rake is fine, but I'm really considering replacing my current springs with the ome 885s. From the looks of the pictures, they look much better then how mines sitting right now.

Alright, looks like the lift will be installed this weekend. Any advice or issues you all ran into while installing the lift? I will be doing UCAs, 5100s/885s, and the Deaver AAL. Can the stock U-bolts be reused in the rear end? Spacer for tacoma lean goes on the front passenger-side correct? If I received the struts pre-assembled from Headstrong, I should not have to do any additional adjustments correct? I will be swapping my stock wheels and tires for TRD SEMAs with 255/75/17 Duratracs.

Appreciate the help as I am new to suspension modifications.

Taco lean spacer on DRIVERS SIDE.....

Stock U-bolts can be re-used. Torque properly and re-check after a few days.

You will have to have a proper front end alignment after completing install.

Thanks for the clarification. Any input about keeping or removing the overload leaf when installing the AAL? Is it alright to drive without an alignment for a couple days without an alignment? I would need to do both city and highway for a few days before I can get it to a shop.

I left my overload in (Same lift as you'll be doing) Without it, you will get 1/2" less total lift (thickness of overload leaf)

You might find the truck ill handling before the alignment, maybe not.....But....It's actually a GOOD thing to drive it some before alignment to allow front coils to settle in a bit. I did almost 400 miles before I had mine done. No ill effects.

Great, thanks again! If I end up having to wait till Tuesday to do the alignment, I'll just ride my stock wheels and tires until then. I plan on mounting and balancing the new wheels and tires Friday in case I can make it to the shop Saturday.

Helped installed lift on my buddy’s 2011 OR this past Saturday. Impressed with Head Strong Offroad’s assembly of the front struts, top hats were clocked correctly for an easy install.

Old stance - His new 265/75/16 Falken’s on 16x8 -10 Level 8 MK6 wheels were indeed too aggressive for stock suspension.

Will get it aligned shortly and confirm if the OEM UCA's will deem acceptable or not. He has reported it rides great and is pleased with the look.

Question to those out there with similar setups with the Deaver AAL... if we were to remove the overload, what amount of drop should we expect? He may want to get it to sit with less rake. - Thank you

great setup. What was the shim for? Also Id keep the overload in for awhile to see how the rear settles. The front probably won't budge.

2.5 degree shim is to provide improved/correct pinion angle for rear axle

A little late on posting, but I installed the lift and tires on my 2012 DCSB last weekend. Had to remove the stock flaps due to rubbing, but other than that, everything else went well.

The tires are Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs. The truck rides very well, and is actually better than I had anticipated. I am very happy with the components provided by @HeadStrong Off-Road.

What has everyone done about not being able to use the stock bottle jack post-lift? If anyone has simply gone to a larger bottle jack, I'd like to know what size/ what vehicle you snagged it from. With the 2.5" lift and new 255/75/17 tires, my stock jack doesn't get my high enough to remove the tires anymore.
