I own a 2013 DCSB TRD OR and I am looking to purchase a ~3" lift kit for my truck...

    Currently how she sits:

Here is what I'd like to purchase....

    Front:
    Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks
    Eibach coils
    LR UCA's
    1/4" drive side spacer
    [IMG]

    Back:
    Bilstein 5100's
    Toytec AAL

    Wheels:
    Black TRD team wheels (fj)

    Tires:
Don't know which size to get.....currently running stock BFG's (40k on them)

-To gain 2.5" or 3" of lift with this kit, what setting do I need to be on for the front shocks?

-Haven't pulled the trigger yet - I know the ride quality is there but what about the lift?? Worth it??

-Will I notice a difference in height compared to the stock TRD OR kit?

Give me some advice guys! Show me this setup if you got it!! And of course, PICTURES are better!! (2nd gen)

So many threads in here covering lifts and 5100's .. the best advice most experienced guys give is leave your 5100's set on 0 .. the coil springs provide the lift. Order the correct coil springs for the amount of lift you want

I have basically the same truck ('13 DCSB PR) and nearly identical kit, save for coil selection and UCAs. Those LR UCAs are next on my list though. I see you have the Toytec kit posted. I very nearly bought that kit, but went with @HeadStrong Off-Road. You have some coil options with them and I selected OME coils. I went up one tick on the front 5100s (though part of me wishes I didn't, because I got 3", rather than 2-2.5" desired increase). Rear is a Deaver AAL and 5100s.

I have yet to see a good matching tire wrapped around those wheels, though that is personal aesthetics, so do what makes you happy.

Contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. She's taken care of a lot of TW members and comes highly recommended. It looks like you've done your homework. Marie can guide you down the path, plus I *think* Headstrong stil has the best prices on LR UCAs.

BTW, here's my truck before & after lift:

Coil specs that come with this kit...

-112-620 Eibach/Toytec front coil springs 620lb spring rate
-1.5" or 3" lift kit with Eibach front coils (3" average lift is achieved with coils and setting the shock adjustment on the second C clip setting from the bottom)

    Nice truck!
The cheapest I could find the LR UCA's is $450....but I'll do what it takes to correct the alignment.

Yeah - there seems to be a ton of threads on 5100's. After reading some of them, it seems like a lot of guys are setting the shocks at .85 with the Eibach coils to gain the most lift with this setup.

quoted from my intro thread (because I couldn't remember):
decided to go with .85. The .85 setting plus the OME 884s yielded 3" of front lift. I was shooting for 2.5". I imagine they'll settle a bit. The UCA's and alignment were no trouble at all. Everything is good to go, no rubbing, stutters, drifting, strange noises. The rear Billies and Deaver AAL gave 2" in the rear.

With Lift: Fronts: 23” Rears: 23.5”
