Toyota's trying to keep secrets. Brand new 2018 Tacoma instead of using that swirly wrap they used camo leaves.

There aren't enough fake leaves in the world to hide a 3rd gens fat underbite front.

True. I would only get the 3rd gen in the TRD pro version or some custom grille that doesn't make the grille look that big.

I always look at it as being able to buy a 2nd gen. supercharge it, long travel or sas, mod it out etc. and have a badass truck that still cost less than a new 3rd gen.

Snowboard704, which engine have you? I'd like to pull the starter on my 2000 2wd with the small four, but I can't see how it comes out of the engine bay.

I have a 3.4 with those gussets as well, I just changed mine about a month ago. The starter has to come out the bottom and towards the rear. Its a tight fit but it will come out once you rotate and move it around a bit

Finally snagged a shell for my 98
    $150!
Gonna clean it up, paint, and mount a new roof rack pretty soon. Although the wood roof rack that's on it is pretty sweet :bananadead:

Nice!!! You're going to love it. Planning to paint it yourself or have it done professionally?

Def do it myself, but I'm torn between trying to color match it or just do black. Thought about doing bed liner if I go with black.
    Any thoughts?

Ya I know I would like it better just wandering how close the after market paint would match.
