2015 remote start options

Sup yo! I was wondering if the 2015 or earlier now has a less expensive and easier option for remote starts? Last time I checked about a year and a half ago it was going to cost me $500 to install one.

That is the same model that I thought I needed an extra harness for or something like that. Making the process more tedious and expensive. No?

No one else with a 15' has a remote start??

 

I had a Python remote start installed on my 2012 last year at a local custom stereo shop. Total cost was $340 and took them a few hours.

For some reason I think that the 2015 is different and won't accept just any remote start. Don't know if that's true of not.

are you just wanting rs or security too? 1 way or 2 way?

 

I think just keep the "security" that I have and add rs.

 

1 way is probably fine unless the price difference isn't to drastic.

 

I put a Viper 2-way system into my 2013...a 2015 can't be that much different.

 

they aren't unless its a 4 or 6 and if it has autolights/delayed lights that have to be interrupted

 

It's a 6 with Auto delayed lights.
