    Hey guys!

I want to upgrade my hi/lo beams on my Tacoma. What did you end up doing? I went online to Diode Dynamics for the interior and am really pleased with the Cool White color, hoping to match the new headlights the same.

I have seen Xenon lights but I am still such a noob. Any thoughts/pictures would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Don't upgrade low beams in the headlights to LED. I did it and the light output is actually worse than the stock set up.

Ended up going the HID route and i can't say anything negative to say about it. I used the kit xenondepot offered because I read on another thread that the Morimoto kit has vibrational issues.

Do a proper projector designed for hid, and then hids. The stock projector is designed for a halogen bulb.

wouldnt that cost an arm and a leg?

You're talking about a custom fitted projector design. Estimate over 1k unless you can somehow do it yourself.

Yes it is fairly expensive, but definitely worth it! I think I'm gonna pull my headlights this week and get them shipped out to a retrofitter to have them done.

I honestly don't think it's worth it. You don't need THAT much light output.

I have a HID set up on my low beams utilizing a stock housing and it's plenty of light. I think that if the OP still decides that he needs more light, it's a more cost effective option to add a light bar or upgrade the fogs to HID.

FYI you can never have too much light output!

I have read about folks having good luck, but there seems to be a lot of folks having issues that keep going back to the light mods.
