Fiiiiiiiinally don'e with this semester. This semester was the hardest semester of school ever. Glad it's over. Now, I can focus on lifting fo realz. I've been averaging about 3 days a week since Aug and now I can finally get back to 4. My mom asked what I wanted for Christmas and I linked her to a badass boxing stand with a bag and a speed bag. I'm hoping this can be my cardio a few mornings each week since I hate running. I hate people, too, so I feel like boxing is the perfect avenue to relieve stress and keep the heart healthy.

Banknbisnshoulders over the weekend got my back sore as fuq:

    widegrip pullups: 4 sets
db rows: used the 125 lb dumbbells for rows for the first time...I'm pretty sure this has something to do with my sore back. 4 sets
shotgun cable rows: 4 sets (one of the best isolation lat movements, IMO)
    seated v-grip rows: 4 sets

    superset:
    standing hammer curls: 4 sets
    seated ohp: 4 sets

    superset:
standing ez bar reverse grip curls: 4 sets
standing db bent over flys: 4 sets

    superset:
    standing concentration curls: 4 sets
standing db front raises: 4 sets

    db shrugs: 4 sets
Don't worry, @dwalden2, nudes are on the way.

    And happy belated birthday, @LVTheMadness11

I did something similar to a shotgun cable row last back day - saw it on IG - seated 1 arm cable row. I liked it :muscleflexing:

I'm gonna try for a good leg day today. My knee hasn't been hurting, so I'm hoping I'm in the clear. We'll see. If it is still hurting when I try to squat, I'm gonna do chestntris.

On day 2 of my off week but the past 2 nights I've been putting a heating pad around my knee for 30-45min before I fall asleep. It's felt so good in the a.m. Hopefully next week it will be close to 100%

Decided I'm going to work on getting my cutting diet dialed in and will begin on Jan 2. I'm currently at around 215-217. Goal is to hit 220 by Jan 2 and cut to no less than 190. I'm hoping I'll be somewhat shredded at that weight. If not, I'll reevaluate and maybe go down to 185, as much as I don't want to. Other goals are to not cheat more than once every 2 weeks, to keep the cheats smart, and to only drink once a month. We'll see how all that goes lol.

    Chestntris last night:

    flat bench: 135x10, 225x12, 315x1.5, 225x8
incline bench: 4 sets of 135 to failure
decline bench: 4 sets of 185 to failure

    superset (4 sets to failure):

    cable crossovers
    svend press

    close-grip bench: 3 sets
standing ez bar triceps extensions: 3 sets
reverse grip straight bar pushdown: 3 sets
single arm db triceps extensions: dropsets to failure

Glad you liked it! Let us know how the protein tastes.

I mean...I know we are animals in here...but really? He needs a bone?

What is your 1RM? I only saw your x6 vid but if your 295reps went up as easily I bet you can get well in to 300s for 1...

My best 1rm ever was 315 but I've fixed my form since then. Today 295 went up easy too and I just bitched out on the 3rd rep. I just have this fear of hurting my back again. My goal is to be repping 315, soon.jpg

My gym bag is ripping. Just a simple sack similar to the one below but without the zipper. Cheaply made and I got it for free so I am not upset with it's imminent death. That said, I have a bunch of material around and I think I'll be making one that is specific to gym use. Where there is normally side seams, it will open, allowing you to lay it flat against a bench, counter or floor. Inside will have pockets and buckle systems to secure and organize your gear completely. There will be the option to cinch shoes in on the inside, as well as the outside (I carry lifting and running shoes). Should be a fun and easy project. Might even make one tonight if I am feeling motivated. What would you guys want to see in a simple gym bag?
