Real nog already has whiskey in it. And rum. It's not really nog unless it's flammable. :D

I was born in IN and my grandparents were from southern IN. Tea wasn't ready until it wouldn't dissolve any more sugar. And I would never drink unsweetened tea growing up. At some point (college I think?), I stopped using sugar in cold tea though I still do for hot. And at some point after that I started only getting water at restaurants... As for apple pie, that's just plain un-American! :smack:

Morning people, I'm back to poke around a little, lifting my self imposed ban. I get too consumed with different threads here and find it is like a drug for my compulsive addictive personality. This place and a cup of coffee is like when I was a kid all hyped up on some mt dew with video games. I was selling my 4runner for a crawler ended up getting a crawler and keeping the 4runner so I'm eating ramen for a while. LOL

Looking for some ideas on a business transaction for a parts truck. The price is set and we shook on the deal. The truck is not paid off and the bank has the title. I only know what he told me he owes on it. The deal we made is for less than what he stated he owes on the truck. He says he intends to use the money I give towards the loan and make payments to get title w/I 3 months.
Question: Can I construct a deal to be buying the majority of parts excluding say the frame and body? For example word the contract that "I'm buying the engine, trans, axles, wheels, fenders, mirrors, seat, etc? I don't want to do anything shady and believe his story for the most part. Thanks for any ideas.

We might get the Ranger again. Ford or GM offering a diesel option on the lower spec trucks might be enough to get me to jump ship.

It's nice to think people are honest, have morals, and a handshake means something, but these days That percentage of the population is maybe 2.3%.

Sure you could write up some contract, have it notorized, but all that's going to do is allow you to have a foot to stand on in the 83% chance that you'll end up going to small claims when this fella disappears... And waiting 4 years to get to court/get your money back.

But if you really want to donate money, let me know and I'll pm you my PayPal address.

Yeah, @TBuzz I second this. Even with a win in Small claims court you still would have to "collect" the payment somehow, which rarely happens as well in person vs person cases. Only person who will come out ahead is the lawyer.
