I have used Die Hard Gold or Platinum's with good success for hmm ok never mind a long long time up in Maine and in Texas . When the one in the Taco went I was going to go with a Deka as a lot of the heavy equipment guys in Maine swear by them but couldn't get one here. So went with the Die Hard again still no issues but YMMV

@puddle-Thanks for taking the hit up there, it relieves the pressure and keeps it from flattening all of southern California! Didn't you nor cals just have a quake by Humboldt, off in the ocean? Hope everyone is ok, even though it was small, can still cause some trouble.

@JD'STaco- I saw a pic of your truck with what I believe are 3rd gen 4runner rims on it. Is that what they are? I have been thinking of finding a set of those for my 1st gen taco and making my truck less blacked out, color-matching my grill surround and mirrors. My friend says my truck looks tactical-I do not think I want "that" look. Where did you find those rims, what did they run you (if you don't mind saying), what is the offset, diameter etc?

It's the jumping backwards that's the issue. Blown fuses and ecu's fried. Yeup that's covered under warr. Right. I shouldn't have to pay for that....

Hi Mike , they are 2001 16" hyper Silver 4Runner Limited wheels, with a 4.5 Back spacing. I'm not sure of the math to determine the offset. Toyota still makes them, but they're pricey. Check CL and EBay. Here's a link to reconditioned wheels. Just click on Toyota wheels and then 4Runner.
