I would get up with your neighbor @Lots2Learn58, he has a 3 inch lift on his which is the Old man suspension. I myself and @fatfurious2 have adjustable coils in the front with different leaf packs in the rear. The next mod day you will probably see all sorts of options.

I guess the best thing would be what is your budget for your lift and what would you want it to achieve? Plan to rock crawl or anything?

My budget would be ~$2000. I want to be able to go general off-roading. Nothing crazy, but i want to go have fun. I'm taking a 15 day roadtrip across the country and back to 8 national parks and want to go play around. And I mean, why not?

 

You can get the OME kit for ~$1600 including leafs. And we can install it for/with you. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours with a few guys.

If you plan on going cross country and in essence living out of your truck I would strongly advise against ome. you need to save some more money and get a set of coilovers. buy once cry once. If you actually utilize your truck like you plan too, you will be regretting the OME purchase shortly after installation, especially if you follow install with a ride in a coilovers truck.

For the amount of on road driving you are hinting towards I would steer you to icon.

 

Oh. Yes during work hours. He could stop by my work and check out the truck. I have a toytec lift on mine, adjustable coilovers up front and in the rear are add a leafs with icon remote resi shocks.
