Yeah, just want to level it. I got just the shocks, no springs. Funny enough they are being delivered today. Looks like I will be able to make it this weekend if you guys think we can get mine done also?

Im okay with helping with a second truck but itll but up up to 49er for the space. This job will probably tack on 2 hours or so without issues.

Assembling the shocks and springs will take awhile without a high quality spring compressor. That's not a quickie job.

I agree, NAPA had a spring compressor that was pretty good but unsure about autozone or mean green

Hmm....dang. Perhaps its not in the cards for me then. I thought there were some posts on here about how to do this with out a compressor? Just using a floor jack. Do you guys think I should just hit up an install shop? I def don't want to burn the whole day for you guys.

It's possible, just not quick and easy. Take some time and read the threads here so you know howto work on your vehicle. I've helped a few people install lifts but it's always understood I'm just a tool bitch, all the responsibility is on the owner.

If @49erfan is willing to let us take up his driveway, we can get yours done. Otherwise we can setup another day at @Geremy place. I did mine using the floor jack method and it was no problem. I installed the coilovers in my Supra using a similar process. I can't say if that took much longer than the spring compressor method, but it felt like the safer option for me.

I hear ya. I'm willing to do the work. My problem is the experience and tools. I have done all the research I can do, now its time to just do it. Still if anyone wants to stand back and say "don't do that idiot" then I'll be sure to listen.

How about this. I'll be there to help with yours and if time/weather permits and you guys want to help me tackle mine then great. Otherwise I'll chalk it up to some learning experience. @49erfan, If you would PM me the details of your location and start time. I can bring coffee/donuts if that works.

I have done three different sets of spring swaps. First with hand tools, then never again and used air tools.

Best advice is take your time on it and if it feels sketchy... it is sketchy.
