    Go with a high end manufacturer like Camburg or Total Chaos their products are all race proven.

    Is there a consensus, ranking, or even an educated list of the UCA's that are best quality / value?
    Seems, for example, for suspension components, in general top two are OME and Bilstein.... then..?

    For upper control arms most people go for the Light Racing because they're easier on the wallet. The big 3 will still be Icon/Camburg/Total Chaos

    The same goes for the suspension you listed, not bashing on OME/Billies at all because I'll probably go that route just because of the cost. But there are far superior suspension components out there for the Taco... Icon/Fox/King

    And then there's long travel and SAS, the crazy shit you can do to your Tacoma all depends on how deep your pockets really are. If you want the best you gotta pay:deadhorse:

    OME is not high quality and Bilstein does not make a uca

    Camburg is top notch it's what I run on my class 7100 taco

    If you have an unlimited budget this is the way to go

    So, I was simply posing a question, for simple consideration ~ and hoping for constructive conversation, for the most part that happened, thanks. I'm not here for (sniping). I used OME and Bilstein as an example (of other suspension components, rtfq), simply because I believe from the threads I've read and follow, they seem to rise to the top in popularity ~ using my view of cost/quality and satisfaction. Guess I was hoping for a comprehensive review or list, maybe with actual costs and perceived valuable components ~ specifically about UCA's .

    If budget was no concern, many of us wouldn't drive what we have, or wouldn't have discussions about it. Thanks for pointing out some of the other top manufactures, Icon/Fox/King/Camburg...

    Likely not a source to answer my question, as posed, so I'll step out. Thanks JT, hadn't considered Baja... Guess I'll continue to work on forming what's best for me and how I want to take my Taco to it's end result...

    So, Assuming the folks that make the update / upgrade to non-oem UCA's, prefer them to have a "Uni-ball" vs simply a new upper (seemingly less flexable) ball-joints..?

    Simply put yes, uniballs limit less than ball joints, I don't think any of us meant to come off as arrogant we were just simply answering your first question about what are the best and the worst. I would say for 95% of us Light Racing UCA's are just fine. For 4% of us we want Icon/Camburg/Baja Kits/Total Chaos/etc... just because we can afford them. And the other 1% of us need them for racing applications. But in a nut shell uniballs are worth the money if your using them not just mall crawling.:thumbsup:

    No worries, simply here for the positive things our love for the Taco's brings, I'm in the aftermarket auto parts business / reproduction side and probably a sensi beotch to negative energy. I found my monostat, I'm good. Thanks.

    I went through a few of the top, web-sites and / or suppliers and seem to find, for me, I'd budget $600 for the upgrade. I have mile commute to work, total mall crawler, but will pay for the right pieces. Just got some Maxtrax and collect parts for a while then will knock out some of the upgrades. Ima, car / truck guy and they must go up or down in height, with suspension upgrades...
