My replacement is coming with Southeastern this time.

They seem to be pretty nice as well. Called yesterday to set an appointment. Just got off the phone with them, they wanted to move the appointment but I couldn't make it due to work. They said "no problem, we will stick to the old commitment".

    Should be here late afternoon!

Anybody having an issue with the ladder collapsing when climbing into the tent? Mine does it on one side only and the same level everytime. I might have a dud

Mine moves slightly as if it is settling. When I'm up there, I feel a slight drop. Maybe half inch or so before the ladder locks. I've only had one uncomfortable moment where I went to get out and my ladder somehow moved and it was at a 90* angle. It made getting out very awkward. I basically jumped out. I made sure it was angled more and locked the next time. I almost wish I had bedbars over a roof rack just in case I have any more unexpected ladder movements in the middle of the night. I'm already uncomfortable with heights but that made it worse.

sounds like when its being set up its not reaching the lock, try to play with the angle and se if that helps the ladder will move until it find the lock and if its doing it at the same level it means its not reaching the lock hope this helps let me know!

It is definitely locking I made triple sure of it. I have tried some different angles. The only thing that works is if I angle it way out, but then the ladder will not fit inside of the annex.

All the locks work except for 1. I can push them together with my hands and feel the lock collapse. I think this ladder is bad

Yep, everything is good. Really impressed with the quality of the tent! Opened it up on the floor and crawled around in it, won't be able to set up the ladder and everything else until I get a trailer to mount it on.

Both my tent and my Prinsu looked like they'd been through hell when they arrived. Not sure what these shipping companies are doing. Maybe their employees are already fed up with the holiday season. Fortunately, the tent wasn't damaged at all and the scratches on the rack are paintable.

Yeah, I'm a little bummed about the Prinsu since it's on the outward facing side of the wind deflector. Wouldn't have mattered if it were facing in. I'm glad I didn't pay for powdercoating. Hopefully a couple coats of plastidip will hide it.

Did any of you that purchased the GT-165 get instructions for that model or do they only have instructions for the 140? I have a few model specific questions. One non-model specific question is where do the self-tapping screws go? I looked at instructions for other brands and some show them holding the end caps and others show them fastening the end of the mounting rail into the tent floor.

They go into the tent floor at each end.

No it did not come with specific instructions. I still haven't figured out how to use the bungies to hold the sides in during pack up, nor do I know what the netting/small hammock looking thing with velcro on the ends is for.
