What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I have kinda the same thing but only sometimes.. it's weird

 

or your left brake works better than your right.

 

I usually do mine for 30 sec to a minute if it's 40 degrees or below. Your basically wasting gas if sits there and warms up slowly. Either way it's gonna put the same wear on your engine if you drive it vs letting it warm up and sit.

 

its been dipping into the -20s already here. Predicted to be a cold one. You get people on the internet that say a long warm up isnt necessary but they probably havent tried to drive a -20 or -30* truck without any warm up. You cant even see out the window for one thing. Not to mention the engine does not like to be given throttle and you can barely turn the steering wheel until things warm up a bit.

I wait until my engine hits 90* before I start to roll out, then coast to a gate

 

Last week the weather was between 6-12 and this week the weather is 55...

 

It's def a waste of gas but I'm much warmer.

Yep. I got 2 metal knees. I warm the truck. If my knees are ccold, it Take a couple hours before im warm.

 

Mine sits in a warm garage whats this warmup stuff? lol

 

I like the cold, so the truck warm-up is just for its benefit

 

That's when I go real easy on the throttle. Go as slow as I can and if somebody behind slows down I don't really care what they think. Even though my truck stays into 2nd gear until I hit 35 mph than it shifts into third.

Same here. You can always wear more not less in the summer.

I cant deal with the heat. Cold is just fine for me.

 

Hahaha just the opposite for me. Grew up on a island and prefer that type of weather.
