Depends on where you're at. You should be close enough to the coast to not need them much. As you get closer to the mountains and farther east, they get much more useful as weather gets colder. I talked to my wife this morning and she said it was so cold outside that the goats were shivering just laying in their stall together, so I told her to bring them inside. I think she said today's high temp was supposed to be 7-10 or so. That is north of Spokane, so more north than JBLM and almost to Idaho.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
That'd be cool - I'll definitely meet up for a couple (dozen) brews! I still think about that white Whiskey you gave me - that stuff was tasty! :hungry:

Once October rolls around, I use mine almost daily. I'm pretty neurotic about checking my mirrors (except for when I'm out wheeling, lol). It helps with the morning dew/condensation, raindrops evaporate quicker, frost/ice are not as frequent but they help when it comes.

Well, TW.....last week I quit drinking for good......

Now, I drink for EVIL!!!! Lol

If you guys like Bourbon, you have got to try this and visit the distillery. They also have the best Vodka and Rye Whiskey around.
Additionally, they age maple syrup in their used Whiskey barrels! :)

Not a "must do" thing but definitely nice to have. Ill be adding them to my truck sometime in the future. If you have a garage its not as big of a deal but if you park outside they are definitely nice to have

aight, although ill have a 2 car garage, I have yet to find one that fits both mine and my wifes car (GMC Acadia). and the garage is going to be my workspace so its going to fill with all my tools/benches/welder quick. I figure the truck will be left outside unless being worked on since my wife will want the car always ready for the 3 mos old baby, which I accept lol

I may do this sooner then, but have no idea what im doing and will def need a hand (ill have a garage to work in though if WE need space haha)

    Input needed here..

When considering a ARB air locker for my 1st Gen, is it better to start with a rear or front locker?

Yes - I forgot to add I park outdoors. My truck is literally too long to park in our garage.

P.S. - your brother makes some nice looking ARs. The included flambeau cases are the same ones I have for my shotgun and rifle (.308 bolt action).

Rear! 99% of the time I use my front is in snow, very rarely in the rocks since the front end isn't as strong (ie tie rods, CV's). But if you are going to do it you should regear and lock front and rear all at the same time. Cheapest that way

    Why re-gear?
    What gear ratio?

Yes! For a day trip. North end would be nice but not required.

    White Dog from Woodinville.

Both at the same time while regearing to 4.88 gears to run 37s

Do I really have to wait that long? Check weather for Boardman, OR. Snowing right now for me.
