Yours is new right? May help make my point about a used one being tight from previous installation and squeezing of the clamp area.

I have a Leer cap! On the issue of painting tail pipe, I painted mine right on the truck. Just held a piece of cardboard up and sprayed. Not a big deal at all. Half hour later I was down the road, baked it on nice!

I put in a Salex organizer a while back, love it!

This is a bracket I made to clip a holster onto about 2 months ago. I bent an old metal yardstick, then screwed it in. I'm not really as big a fan of this as I thought I would be. It does the job well, but there are better places to store a handgun. Also, with the interior being so dark, it's easy to forget it's down there. I've come close to leaving a gun in the car a few times, which is a huge problem.

Update on rear differential. JT's got it today and inspected and already rebuilt it and is on its way back. Murph gave me a call this afternoon and told me they all looked at it, didn't think the install was bad, questioned me on break in, which I've talked to him several times he knows I'm pretty anal about my truck and that shouldn't have been a problem. In the end we chalked it up to just a freak issue with that particular set of gears. He doesn't think I'll have any more problems. Also I found out according to him the rear differential is the same as the gears from 05 on up. Only thing different is the bearings I guess. He also said the gear set I had was the very end of the lot # so I guess that could have been and issue with manufacturing of that gear set. Anyway fingers crossed gentle break in change the fluid and 500 Miles again and hopefully good to go this time. Also hoping I have no whining noise this time. Two thumbs up to Murph and Carl, at JT's for standing behind there product and very quick turn around! Just hope all is good now.:fingerscrossed:

Very frustrating and nerve racking when after all the time and $$$$$ that has been sunk into a new truck like this, and you have tried not to skimp, and tried to do everything right. Then you start to think that you screwed the whole thing up but there is no going back. Almost takes the wind rifht out of your sails. Quite depressing! On top of that, everyone always asking where is your new truck, and trying to explain why it is always out of commission. :frusty:
