This is our fall "No kids camping trip" to Uvalde, TX. We ran 24 miles on the Nueces River and had a blast since the water levels were the best I have ever seen.
Our campsite with The Window in the background at Big Bend. My son had a blast driving the Tacoma all over the back roads and he really liked Black Gap road. We are already trying to plan another trip.

I envy all of you in the the warm regions. I can't go camping up here it's currently 21 degrees with a windchill of 3 degrees.

Growing up in Maine I know what you're talking about - now I love being able to go do outdoor activities without having to deal with extra gear.

UPDATE: I just finished the drawers a few months ago. Features two 3ft drawers and then large 3ft storage areas in the back. I'm really happy with it. If you're interested, you can see more shots of it on my blog.

Thanks man! It's really not to bad. I went with the ARE MX camper top so it has a little extra head space. I can sit up-right in it, even with the mattress.

Where is this? Could be the midwest after this weekend if not for the mountains and trees.
