I try and do it once a year. But with a snow wheeling trip coming up, and then of course ice fishing, I need to cover my bare metal scrapes from wheeling since last winter

Snow? Ice? Good heavens that sounds awful.

I kid, although I can't imagine snow wheeling nor ice fishing.

Not having to deal with salt roads is a blessing down here. Obviously living on the coast means washing the crap out of the undercarriage post beach fun runs, but generally rust isn't something we have to worry about.

If there was another state I'd live in without hesitation, it would be Arizona.

    No sir. No way.

Beautiful though. You live in gorgeous country, @OZ-T.

And this thread is delightfully destroyed. @scocar would be pleased.

Its sheet ice where compacted and crusted over where it is undisturbed , I've almost ripped my door handles off a couple times now cause the doors are frozen shut in my truck

Negative C is not very impressive. Heck, I'm in Maryland and we will be -9C tomorrow night too!

    Negative F rules the roost.

Well until -40, then C starts winning again... Or losing depending on how you look at it.
